CONFUSION

Jenny's eyes widened in surprise, and she looked at Lucien with a mixture of shock and curiosity. "You met and fell in love?" she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.

Lucien nodded, a soft smile on her face. "Yes, Jenny. I know it's hard to believe, but I've never been happier in my life."

Jenny's gaze shifted to Ace, who was watching the exchange with a calm and confident expression.

Jenny's eyes widened in shock as she took in the scene before her. Ken, the guy she had been intimate with and had hoped to date for his wealth, was standing in front of her, smiling casually. And he was in Ace's mansion, of all places.

Jenny's mind was racing with questions. What was Ken doing here? How did he know Ace? And what was going on between Lucien and Ace, anyway?

She looked at Lucien, who was watching her with a concerned expression. "Jenny, are you okay?" Lucien asked, her voice soft.

Jenny shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. "What's going on here, Lucien?" she asked, her voice firm. "How do you know Ken?"

As Ken extended his hand to Jenny, she hesitated for a moment before taking it. "Nice to meet you too, Ken," she said, her voice neutral.

But Lucien noticed the tension in Jenny's body, and her eyes narrowed slightly as she watched the exchange. She couldn't help but wonder what was going on. What was the relationship between Jenny and Ken?

Lucien's eyes darted to Ken,he had a look of ...discomfort, and possibly even a hint of guilt. It was as if Ken was uncomfortable with the fact that Jenny was standing in front of him, and he didn't know how to react.

Jenny, on the other hand, seemed to sense Ken's unease, and her expression turned icy. She withdrew her hand from Ken's, her eyes flashing with a mixture of anger and hurt.

The tension between them was palpable, and Lucien's curiosity was piqued. What had happened between Jenny and Ken? And why was Ken looking at Jenny with such a mixture of guilt and irritation?

Jenny's eyes widened in shock as she stared at Ace, her mind reeling with the revelation. "You're the heir to the nicks family?" she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ace nodded, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. "I know I didn't tell you the truth about myself when we first met," he said, his eyes locked on Jenny's. "But I wanted to find someone who loved me for who I am, not for my wealth or family name."

Lucien looked like she was about to faint, her eyes darting back and forth between Ace and Jenny. "Ace, why didn't you tell me?" she asked, her voice trembling with surprise.

Ace chuckled. "I wanted to keep it a secret until the right moment," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "And I have to say, I'm glad I did. Jenny, you were so focused on my supposed wealth, you didn't even notice the real me."

Jenny's face turned bright red with embarrassment as she realized the truth. She had been so blinded by her desire for wealth and status, she had almost missed out on the chance to know Ace for who he truly was.
