Jenny's eyes narrowed, her voice dripping with venom. "You think you're so much better than me, don't you?" she spat. "You think you can just judge me and my feelings for Ace?"
Lucien stood tall, her eyes never leaving Jenny's face. "I'm not judging you, Jenny. I'm just telling you the truth. You didn't love Ace for who he was. You loved him for what he could provide for you."
Jenny's face turned red with rage, her fists clenched at her sides. "How dare you!" she shouted. "You don't know anything about me or my feelings!"
Lucien took a step forward, her eyes blazing with intensity. "I know more than you think, Jenny. And I'm not afraid to say it."
The room was quiet for awhile both friends staring at each other jenny burst into tears slumping on the bed " I don't really know what I want jenny said in tears " I am so sorry for making a scene
As Jenny broke down into tears, Lucien's expression softened. She saw the genuine remorse in Jenny's eyes and knew that her friend was truly sorry.
"Oh, Jenny," Lucien said, her voice filled with compassion. "I'm sorry too. I should have been more considerate of your feelings."
Jenny sobbed uncontrollably, her body shaking with emotion. "I'm so sorry, Lucien... for everything... for the way I reacted..."
Lucien pulled Jenny into a warm hug, holding her close as she cried. "Shh, Jenny... it's okay... I forgive you," Lucien whispered, stroking Jenny's hair.
As they hugged, Lucien could feel the tension and anger melting away, replaced by a sense of understanding and forgiveness.
"I'm so sorry I didn't tell you about Ace and me," Lucien said, her voice filled with regret. "I was afraid of losing our friendship."
Jenny pulled back, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "You should have told me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I understand why you didn't. I wasn't exactly the most supportive friend when it came to Ace."
Lucien smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "We've both made mistakes, Jenny. But I'm glad we can talk about them and move forward."
Jenny nodded, a small smile on her face. "Me too, Lucien. Me too."
" About ken ! Lucian asked "
" He was the man I told you I was going on a date with before jerald ruined it "
Lucien's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh, Ken! I remember you telling me about him. What happened after Jerald ruined the date?"
Jenny sighed, a look of frustration on her face. "Nothing, really. I didn't hear from him again after that night. I guess he wasn't interested in pursuing things further."
Lucien's expression turned thoughtful. "I'm sorry, Jenny. You really liked him, didn't you?"
Jenny nodded, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Yeah, I did. But I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Jenny turned to Lucien and said, "You know what, let's just forget about Ken, okay? I don't want to think about him anymore."
Lucien nodded in agreement. "Okay, Jenny. Let's just move forward."
Lucien then showed Jenny to her room, where she could get dressed and take a bath. After freshening up, Lucian asked her to rest while she headed downstairs to meet with the guys
Lucien walked into the living room, where Ken and Ace were sitting, and said, "Ace, come with me."
Ace looked up at her, a hint of curiosity in his eyes, and nodded. "Okay, babe."
Lucien grabbed Ace's hand and dragged him upstairs to their room, closing the door behind them.
"What's going on, Lucien?" Ace asked, his eyes searching hers.
Lucien's expression was determined. "We need to talk."
Lucien's eyes blazed with anger as she stared at Ace. "Did you know that Ken was the guy who hurt Jenny's feelings?" she demanded.
Ace shrugged, a nonchalant expression on his face. "Yeah, I knew."
Lucien's voice rose in outrage. "And you didn't do anything about it? You just let him come into our home and face Jenny again?"
Ace's expression turned cold. "It was a punishment for Jenny," he said, his voice devoid of emotion. "She needed to face her past."
Lucien's face was incredulous. "A punishment? Are you kidding me? Jenny was devastated by what Ken did to her. And you think it's okay to just rub it in her face again?"
Lucien's voice trembled with rage as she confronted Ace. "Jenny is my best friend! Why would you do such a thing to her? Even though she hurt you in the past, why don't you just let her go?"
Ace's expression remained cold, but Lucien could see a hint of guilt in his eyes. "I'm just trying to protect myself," he said, his voice devoid of emotion.
Lucien's anger boiled over, and she took a step closer to Ace. "Protect yourself? From what? Jenny's not a threat to you. She's just a hurt and vulnerable person who needs our support and care."
Ace's expression softened, and he took Lucien's hands in his. "I'm so sorry, Lucien. I was wrong to bring Ken here and hurt Jenny again. It was thoughtless and cruel. Can you ever forgive me?"
Lucien's anger melted away, replaced by a deep love and appreciation for Ace's sincerity. "I forgive you, Ace," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ace's face lit up with relief, and he sealed his apology with a tender kiss. Lucien's heart swelled with love, and she knew that everything was going to be okay.
Just then, Jenny came downstairs, looking stronger and more radiant than before. She smiled brightly at Lucien and Ace, and the three of them shared a warm hug.
As they sat down to dinner, Lucien couldn't help but notice how happy Jenny seemed. She was chatting and laughing with Ace, completely ignoring Ken, who looked on with a mixture of sadness and regret.
Despite the tension, the dinner was a joyful and celebratory affair. Lucien was thrilled to see her best friend so happy, and she knew that Jenny had many reasons to be grateful.
As they finished their meal and the evening drew to a close, Lucien smiled at Jenny, feeling a deep sense of love and connection. "I'm so glad we're okay, Jenny," she said, her voice filled with emotion.
Jenny's eyes sparkled with tears, and she hugged Lucien tightly. "Me too, Lucien. Me too."
