In a room full of different comic books and fantasy novels, laid Tim Baer on his bed.
Tim was a young adult in his early twenties. He had a pale white complexion and a dark blue hair.
He was not what the ladies would call, a handsome male.
Due to his obvious bad luck with anything related to women, he drowned himself into fantasy creations.
He loved the unreal, so he always imagined himself in different situations and scenarios.
His favorite type of fantasy book or comic to read were those with evil MC's. Weirdly enough he resonated with the MC's of the fantasy world.
He was just a regular office worker, who hated his job by day but by night he was a famous critique that always gave harsh and sometimes truthful reviews online of fantasy books he had read.
He was a total fanatic when it came to fantasy novels, so he always wanted the best outcome and possibilities whenever he was reading a novel.
Currently he was on his bed giving a nasty review about a novel he just read on its popular Comment/Review session.
[ A Warrior's Journey To Godhood (Reviews)
I feel that the MC just makes stupid decision on a whim. It is almost like anytime he sees a female character he would lose his reasoning. The fights are just so off. How can the MC wield so much overpowered skill and still get beaten by a group of goblins. There are too many issues with this novel. LISTEN MY FELLOW READERS THIS NOVEL IS TRASHHHHHHHHHHHHH. > ] Tim watched with a smug on his face, as the number of likes on his post rose by thousands every second. This meant that he had succeeded in deterring people from reading the novel. It was not as if he intentionally gave bad reviews, the novel just did not meet his high standard. So he did what he had a reputation for. He crashed the sales of the novel. It was a good day for him. he went ahead to read his usual dark themed novel which he always read before he went to bed. He woke up the next day refreshed. He checked his review about the book he critiqued last night and he saw that the review had over five million likes. This was the most exposure he had ever gotten since he started his critique days. He also saw that the sale of the novel tanked, in addition to a lot of refunds that was requested by the readers. He felt a bit bad for the author, but he did not feel guilty for what he did. It was the authors fault for not creating a proper fantasy world that suited his taste. He was getting late for work. So, he went prepared for work and went to his boring job as an IT Specialist. It was a stressful day at work for Tim, but he held on. Knowing fully well that once he get home, he would resume his critique adventure especially since his recent boost in exposure. When Tim got home after a long day at work, he decided to take a shower. He did always take his hygiene seriously. After coming out from the bathroom, he decided to order a pizza as hid dinner. 'Nothing beats eating pizza and reading an action novel.' He thought. Thirty minutes after he ordered his pizza, he heard his doorbell ring. DING DONG "Who is there? I am coming. " He stayed in a studio apartment on the 4th floor of the building, he told the security earlier to allow anyone looking for him to enter the building, anticipating the pizza delivery. Tim opened the door, he was shocked not to see the pizza delivery guy at his door. Instead it was a man who looked to be in his 30's that was at his door. The man was bald, he wore a glasses and an outfit that screamed nerd writer. "What... Who are you looking for? I think you have the wrong address old man." Tim said to the man who could not even look Tim in the eye. "Why did you have to leave such an unpleasant comment." The man muttered. "Huh, speak up. Why did I do what?" "Why did you have to leave such a bad review on my book. Do you know how much time and effort I put into writing that novel." The man said, with tears rapidly gathering around his eyes. "Is that why you want to cry." Tim said with pity. He looked at the man's face once again and found semblance to the face of the author he recently critiqued. "Author Lant, So you really think ambushing me at my home will help your case. My only advise for you now is to write better, let your story be more realistic even if it is in a fantasy world. Don't just write for writing sake. Actually write adventures that are realistic." The man who was now in serious tears replied "You don't understand. If you truly understand you won't be talking like this. If you were in the shoes of the MC, If you faced trials, dangers similar to the MC you won't be talking like this. The MC is not just someone I created. The MC is a literal *********" Tim did not hear the last part of the last sentence the author said, so he thought the author intentionally omitted the word.
