"If we flee this scene with the elf's body, we can very much seal our fate as criminals." Otto said, still trying to convince them that they could still salvage the situation.
Gunt took a closer look at the body and responded to Otto "I think we should go with Lazar's suggestion. Especially since we are close to the elven territory, even from his looks alone he doesn't seem to be just an average elf.
Look at his hair, its snow white. Guys what if this elf is from a special and a powerful family amongst the elves.
We can't take any risk. What do you think Marat? What should we do?"
Marat who still had tears in her eyes was unable to respond. For what it was worth, she was the sole reason why they were in their particular situation, according to her.
'I should have just avoided coming anywhere close to the elven territory. It is all my fault.' She thought repeatedly.
"Otto, Marat is not thinking properly. Our only choice as of now is to flee with the body. It is our only option. This decision is final" Efe said.
Otto looked at Efe, who just gave the final decision. He was not happy about the decision that Efe made, but he just had to obey.
He was not one to deny orders from the team leader.
"Now we need to wipe out every evidence that can suggest that somebody died here, then head back to city area, so we can probably throw him into a dungeon or something." Lazar said.
Marat snapped out of her stupor when she heard what Lazar just said.
"You can't be serious about throwing him into a dungeon. That is not right Lazar. We have to treat the body with respect and bury it." Marat said, as she wiped away the tears from her eyes.
"No, not in this situation. We are talking about the elves here. We can't afford to slip up in the slightest.
What if they use a tracking spell to locate him? remember that we are already in contact with the body.
Once the body is found they can locate the last set of people that were in contact with the body. Whether it was a direct contact or not.
The best option would be to throw the body in a dungeon where it would be eaten up by the habitants of the dungeon or we can just throw him in a red zone forest.
Surely those options would cover our tracks in the best way possible." Efe said. Squashing Marat's suggestion of burying the elf.
Marat with Efe's response realized that It was actually a good suggestion, but she was still bothered about the idea of throwing a body into a dungeon.
It was a cruel thing to do whether a person was alive or not, but she also knew about the possible consequences of not doing such.
She steeled her mind and accepted the suggestion, it was something that had to be done for the safety of her team.
"We have to remove all evidence." She said sadly.
…..
'Where am I? Did I finally die? I must have.
That golden knife definitely flew out of my hand and stabbed me. That was foul play.' Tim thought as he opened his eyes.
All he saw was darkness.
Why he was in a dark place, he did not know for sure. What he could summarize about the place according to the number of fantasy books that he had read was that where he was now was the possible gate to the after life.
' Maybe those gods in those fantasy novels are watching me now.' Tim thought.
"You probably know that I was cheated right?" Tim yelled out.
There was nobody that was physically present with him, but he knew that he was probably being watched.
If he was transmigrated then it also meant that all the practically impossible fantasy stuff he read when he was in his original body was true to an extent.
He never really pictured or wanted himself to be in a fantasy world, but he damn knew that if he were to be in such world, he would take advantage of the privilege given to him and rise to the very top.
He yelled out again "I was forcefully removed from my normal life on earth, and transferred into the life of someone that was doomed for death.
As if that was not enough, I was killed by an unknown force.
All of this adds up to foul play. It does not make sense that someone would move my soul and essence into another body just to kill me.
If such being wanted to kill me, the being could have just killed me when I was on earth directly, unless.."
The place Tim stood in was quiet, but he knew that whoever was listening to wanted to know Tim's reasoning.
He continued " Unless there was a force, being, or even a law that prevented the being from actually taking my life back on earth.
So the being probably just transferred me to another body in another world or even dimension. To achieve such a thing.
What I don't understand now is the lack of a cheat skill, system or even the body's innate ability.
According to the numerous books and comics that I have read, a transmigration comes with an OP skill or even an advantage, but I possess none.
To be more precise, I was suppressed completely.
The super regeneration that this body used to have been suppressed, this body's magic is non existent, the system that naturally comes with a transmigration is also suppressed.
Those are all foul play. Multiple interference has been done on my life.
My question now is what are you going to give to me for all the injustice that I have faced over the last 24 hours?
If you wanted me truly dead then I wouldn't be speaking by now. Are you going to grant me justice or not?
