'Was the being that forcefully transmigrated me a champion also? How long did the being take to actually reach that level of power to actually transmigrate me?' Tim thought.
He had many other questions running through his head at the moment, but he knew that those questions he had would most likely be ignored by the being that he was currently talking to.
He decided to ask the important questions first of all.
"If you were a champion previously, why do you need champions right now? Have you finished fulfilling the agenda of the one that made you to be a champion?" Tim asked the top questions that were on his mind.
They were unlikely to be answered but Tim still decided to ask them. There was always no harm in trying to ask them.
"You seem to ask to many questions. I have already provided you with the surest path to success, and yet you still ask questions.
Why can't you just accept the good deed I am doing for you now and become my champion.
All your questions would be answered if you actually become my champion." The being said, it seemed as if the being was frustrated by his slightly increased tone.
Tim on the other hand was feeling persuaded. Something in him suddenly wanted to accept the being and become its champion, but he knew that it was not himself that wanted it.
He was probably becoming influenced by the being, something he did not know about toll now.
'Hmm, the longer I stay in there presence the more influenced I become.' Tiim analysed.
"I have one last question before I make up my mind. Is it possible to later on give up and not become your champion again?
What I mean is that, if I want to call quits on this champion stuff, would it be possible?" Tim asked, as cautiously as he could.
"Why would anyone wasn't to stop being a champion? That is the most ridiculous thing that I have heard in years.
If you stop becoming a champion especially after all the blessings and enhancements that were given to you by your benefactor, then you would lose all your strength and progress.
It is as simple as that. Once you stop being a champion, then all the blessings would return back to the one that granted it.
Tim frowned when he heard that. What the being was saying was simple enough for him to understand. Once a person becomes a champion, then they are at the mercy of their benefactor.
"I have made up my mind." Tim announced as he walked towards the first entrance that now had a golden and attractive glow to it.
The entrance seemed like the right one to be in, everything about it screamed that it was the best option to Tim, but Tim really detested being under someone.
He remembered the times when he was under his boss at work. The high level of demands was just too much.
How could he now come into this fantasy world and have another boss that would always be ordering him around?
He was not living his own life when he was under someone, and what he craved the most was freedom.
He wanted to be a free man and make his decisions on his own, and not his decisions being made for him.
Steeling his resolve he stepped towards the entrance that was just directly beside the first entrance.
"Are you sure that is what you want. Remember that any decision you make now is final and there is no going back from such." The voice warned as Tim stepped towards the other entrance.
Tim turned back as if he could see the being watching him and said "Well, what is the fun in becoming a champion for you. I would rather forge my path than to be a pawn."
FOOM!
All the entrances closed as Tim entered into the unappealing entrance.
Silence once again blossomed in the space that Tim was just in a couple of seconds ago. The silence did not last long as another voice burst into an uncontrollable laughter.
"Hahaha hahaha ahahah hehehehe. To think that you would be rejected by a nobody Tarus. You truly are worthless, even as an higher being you could not even convince the little lad to become your champion." The voice said mockingly.
"It is truly a shame Tarus; I was expecting more from you. Maybe you tried too hard to impress the lad. You could have explained things better to the lad, you exposed a lot to the lad without him being you Champion.
Such a shame." A calmer feminine voice rang out in the space that Tim was previously.
Tarus in question at this point felt shame from the recent turn of events. He had called the two of them to come and watch how he was going to convert the unfortunate transmigrator into his loyal champion, but it totally backfired on him.
Instead of getting a new champion, he got humiliated with a rejection even after enhancing the balanced skills that were going to be granted to Tim and he gave out a lot of information pertaining to the world the transmigrator was in, something that was not allowed normally and had great consequences.
He looked towards the only female in that space with a conflicted expression. He truly wanted to impress the two of them, but it did not work out, now he had come up with an excuse.
"Look. He is trying to come up with another bull shit excuse. You wasted my time, Tarus. You made me project myself back into this lower region, just to watch you get humiliated.
Yes I got in some laughs, but I don't have time for laughs. I should be trying to reach the very peak of this tower instead of wasting my time in this Seed world." The other masculine voice said as he wrapped away from the space.
"I am sure that you have better things to be doing. Good-bye Tarus." The feminine voiced said as she also disappeared.
Silence filled the space once again.
"Damn you Tim. I will have you." Tarus said as he also disappeared from the space.
