Prologue: Death and Rebirth

Rishi Agarwal was an ordinary man, a mid-level IT professional who spent his life in front of a screen, working tirelessly for a corporation that barely knew his name. Years of poor diet, stress, and lack of physical activity had left him with numerous health problems—high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, and a body that felt much older than its 45 years.

His personal life was in ruins. His wife had divorced him years ago, taking their only son with her, and his aging parents had passed away, victims of neglect and his inability to provide them with proper care. The guilt weighed on him like a mountain, and as he stared at the empty glass of whiskey in his dimly lit Mumbai apartment, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. His last thought was bitter regret: If only I had another chance...

Darkness followed, but not for long.

Rishi's eyes snapped open, and he found himself lying on a hard wooden bed. The scent of old furniture, incense, and the faint aroma of home-cooked food filled the air. His heart pounded as he took in his surroundings—an old ceiling fan spinning slowly, a wooden table stacked with books, and a small calendar on the wall that read: June 5, 1980.

His mind reeled. What the hell is happening?

He sat up and looked at his hands. They were young, free of scars, and unwrinkled. His legs felt lighter, his vision sharper. He rushed to a small mirror across the room—and gasped. Staring back at him wasn't the face of the tired, middle-aged man he once was. Instead, he saw the youthful features of an 18-year-old boy.

Memories flooded his mind. This was Rishi Verma, the heir to a once-powerful zamindar family in Kanpur. Decades ago, his ancestors had ruled over vast lands, commanding wealth and influence, but now only a shadow of that legacy remained. The family's grand mansion, once filled with servants and guests, stood mostly empty, save for a few loyal retainers who had refused to leave even in difficult times. Among them was Pratap Singh, the family's butler, a man who had served the Vermas with unwavering loyalty for decades.

Rishi's father, Arun Verma, was a small landowner who had inherited what little remained of the family's former estate. His real passion, however, was his restaurant—Verma's Delight, an old establishment known for its legendary recipes. Though not a major financial success, it had a loyal customer base and a reputation for serving the best traditional cuisine in the city. However, Arun Verma had gone missing mysteriously two years ago, leaving behind unanswered questions and a struggling family.

In his absence, Rishi's mother, Savita Verma, had taken over the restaurant's management, working tirelessly to keep it afloat while taking care of her son. Despite her struggles, she remained a strong woman, determined to preserve what little they had left of their once-great heritage.

As these memories settled, a cold robotic voice echoed in Rishi's mind.

[Welcome to the Business System. Congratulations, Host, on your reincarnation. You have been granted a second chance to build the greatest business empire in history. Complete missions, earn rewards, and change the fate of India's economy. Do you accept?]

Rishi's hands trembled. This wasn't just reincarnation. This was an opportunity. A chance to rebuild his empire from scratch—but this time, with knowledge of the future and a system to guide him.

He took a deep breath and clenched his fists. "I accept."

And so, the journey began.
