"Sensei! Be careful!" Kurosaki Ichigo shouted urgently upon seeing Yammy release a Cero.

Aaron regarded the incoming Cero with an expression of indifference, exuding waves of killing intent as he let out a cold snort.

Ordinarily, with his level of skill, he could have easily dodged the attack.

However, who would have thought that Yammy, who appeared to be all brawn and no brains, would actually be cunning?

At the last moment, just as Aaron anticipated the attack aimed at him, Yammy shifted his ultimate target to Kurosaki Ichigo instead.

In an instant, Aaron used Shunpo to appear beside Ichigo and whispered, "Swallow it, Taotie! Reflect, taotie!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, a massive mirror materialized before them.

Yammy shot a triumphant glance at Ulquiorra, eagerly awaiting the satisfying explosion that would result from his Cero.

However, as his gaze returned to Aaron and Kurosaki Ichigo, his expression twisted in surprise. His Cero had vanished.

"What?! How is that possible? Where did my Cero go?!"

Yammy, who had always boasted about being the strongest Arrancar, had never encountered such an inexplicable phenomenon.

Not far away, Ulquiorra eyed the enormous mirror warily. As if realizing something, he quickly called out, "Yammy! Be careful! That mirror is extremely unusual!"

"That was close..." Ichigo muttered, wiping cold sweat from his forehead as he processed the astonishing scene before him.

Just as he felt a momentary sense of relief, a massive shadow, as imposing as a mountain, suddenly loomed over Aaron and Ichigo.

Having missed his initial strike, Yammy wasted no time. Using Sonído, he closed the distance between himself and Aaron in an instant.

Now, he was eager to test the strength of this seemingly unimpressive opponent.

Aaron remained unfazed. With a single leap, he ascended into the air, and at the same time, the giant mirror emitted a burst of intense energy.

In the blink of an eye, a colossal red sphere of light shot out from the mirror, striking Yammy's massive body directly.

"Boom!"

The force of his own reflected Cero sent Yammy flying. After struggling to regain his balance mid-air, he prepared to launch another attack.

However, before he could react, a giant black sword shadow descended from the sky, slashing toward his head.

Ulquiorra barely had time to issue a warning before the blade cleaved Yammy cleanly in two. His massive form disintegrated into fine ash before even hitting the ground.

Kurosaki Ichigo stared in disbelief, his mouth agape. He had no words for the shocking turn of events.

Floating in midair, Aaron cast a satisfied glance at the fallen remains before shifting his focus to Ulquiorra.

A sudden sense of unease and dread gripped Ulquiorra. He had never imagined that Yammy would be defeated so easily.

However, he quickly composed himself. The moment he saw Aaron vanish from sight, he made a split-second decision.

"Resurrección: Murciélago!" he intoned.

With those words, Ulquiorra underwent his transformation. A pair of massive black wings sprouted from his back. His half-mask, which had previously covered only his forehead, now extended down both sides of his face.

A sharp sound echoed as Ulquiorra used Sonído to reappear high in the sky.

Aaron materialized at the spot where Ulquiorra had just stood, glancing upward with mild surprise.

He hadn't expected Ulquiorra to enter his Resurrección form so decisively.

By now, dark green lightning crackled in Ulquiorra's hands as he conjured a javelin of energy.

Without hesitation, he hurled the electrified spear toward Aaron.

The javelin whistled through the air before slamming into its target, kicking up a thick cloud of dust.

As the dust settled, Ulquiorra conjured another lightning javelin in each hand. His piercing gaze turned to Kurosaki Ichigo, who stood below, battered and weary.

Although Yammy was dead, Aizen's orders remained. The mission had to be completed.

Just as Ulquiorra prepared to launch his next attack, a black silhouette appeared before him out of nowhere.

"Tch."

The clash of Aaron's Zanpakutō against Ulquiorra's lightning-infused javelins sent sparks flying. A powerful shockwave erupted from their collision, sweeping outward in all directions.

Within moments, even the white clouds in the sky were torn apart, and the heavens darkened with ominous storm clouds.

For the first time, Ulquiorra felt an overwhelming sense of powerlessness.

Not even Aizen had instilled this kind of fear in him.

This wasn't just a difference in strength. The disparity between them was fundamental, like that between an insect and a dragon.

Understanding the severity of the situation, Ulquiorra made a desperate choice.

He decided to use a technique he had once discovered in his early days as an Arrancar—a last resort that would grievously wound him and possibly strip him of his power forever.

But at this moment, he had no other option.

Just as Aaron prepared to deliver the final strike, Ulquiorra's body suddenly detonated.

In the aftermath of the explosion, countless spirit particles were drawn into a pitch-black rift that materialized in the air.

In an instant, Ulquiorra had vanished completely.

"A spatial escape technique? Interesting," Aaron mused with a smirk.

Sensing Ulquiorra's Reiatsu disappear entirely, Aaron felt a hint of regret but did not dwell on it.

After all, once Aizen fully merged the two Hōgyoku and completed his research, that would be the true moment to act.

For now, this was merely a prelude.

Meanwhile, in Hueco Mundo, inside Las Noches.

A faint, dark green glow flickered as a battered figure stumbled into the palace.

In the vast, dimly lit hall constructed of violet stone, Aizen sat upon his grand throne, watching with amusement.

Around him, dozens of Arrancar turned their attention to the weakened Ulquiorra, who stood at the entrance, barely clinging to consciousness.
