Entrance

A few days had passed since the giant worm tore the city apart. The streets were quieter now, but the air still felt heavy—like something bad was waiting to happen. Most folks had been evacuated to Sections C and D, where it was safer.

The nobles got fancy spots in Section A, of course, because that's how things worked. Section B? It was a ghost town now, empty except for the hunters gearing up for something big.

The pit was the talk of every section.

No one knew how deep it went or what was down there, but the higher-ups weren't taking chances. They called for hunters from all over to join an expedition into that endless dark hole. Word spread fast: "Fortune and glory for anyone brave enough to go down!"

Not many bit. Sections C and D? Dead silent. Those hunters valued their lives too much to mess with something that screamed "death trap." Section A sent four—B-rank hunters, tough guys with good gear and egos to match.
