Baek Ryun was an orphan who lived a simple life tending rice fields. One day, as he walked to the village to sell some of his harvest, he encountered a group of bandits. They beat him mercilessly, and one of them struck his head so hard that he lost consciousness.



When Baek woke up, he was no longer the same. The humiliation of his helplessness burned inside him, driving him to obsession. He became relentless in his pursuit of martial arts, pushing his body beyond its limits. But the blow to his head had done more than just fuel his rage, it had stripped him of his emotions and irreversibly changed the way he saw the world.
