Chapter Seven: A World Unwritten

The ruins shrank behind them as Elara and Kael walked toward the unknown. The road ahead was fractured, overgrown, as if time itself had tried to erase it. Yet, with each step, Elara felt something she hadn't before—possibility.

For so long, her path had been a loop, an endless cycle dictated by fate. Now, with the echoes of her past lives quiet, the world felt… unwritten. A blank page waiting for her hand.

Kael walked beside her, silent but watchful. He had been part of this cycle too, tangled in it as deeply as she was. But he, too, had made a choice.

After a long while, he finally spoke. "Where do we go?"

Elara stopped. The road stretched ahead, limitless. She could feel the pulse of the world, its magic shifting, uncertain—almost as if it, too, was waiting for her answer.

She closed her eyes. She could go anywhere. Do anything.

For the first time, the future was truly hers.

Elara opened her eyes, a slow smile crossing her lips.

"Anywhere."
