A night of ashes.

*Muchen Xing : a night of ashes

The Xing Sect was ablaze with chaos as the Swords Sect launched a surprise attack. But before the battle could escalate, a sinister purple gas enveloped the sky, casting a dark and foreboding shadow over the sect. Demons descended upon the Xing Sect, their malevolent presence striking fear into the hearts of its members.

The Swords Sect, realizing they were outmatched, fled in terror, leaving the Xing Sect to face the demonic horde alone. Three demons, each with powers surpassing those of one trillion humans, emerged from the shadows. A beautiful demon lady, her thirteenth demon level aura radiating an otherworldly energy, sensed the presence of the Divine Artifact.

"Where is the Divine Artifact?" she demanded, her voice like ice. "I know it's hidden here. Bring it to me now!"

Xiao Xing, Muchen's father, stood tall, his eyes blazing with defiance. "There is no Divine Artifact here. You may leave."

The demon lady's response was swift and merciless. She pounced on Xiao, her movements faster than lightning, and held him aloft by the neck. "Tell me again," she hissed, "where is the Chun Artifact?"

Muchen, still unconscious, was oblivious to the danger unfolding around him. But as the demon lady's grip tightened around Xiao's neck, Muchen's eyes snapped open. He took in the scene before him, his mind racing with confusion and alarm.

The demon lady's gaze locked onto Muchen, and she hurled herself at him with incredible speed. Muchen, still disoriented, tried to defend himself, but the demon's blows rained down upon him like a tempest. Blood flowed from his wounds, and the demon lady's eyes gleamed with triumph.

But just as all seemed lost, a sword flashed in the light, striking the demon lady's hand and sending a poisonous needle clattering to the ground. Aria, a mysterious warrior, stood tall, her eyes blazing with determination.

Muchen, seizing the opportunity, punched the demon lady with all his might, sending her stumbling backward. As he rushed to Aria's side, the demons unleashed their fury upon them. Xiao and Fang, Muchen's parents, leapt to their defense, blocking the demons' blows and urging Muchen and Aria to flee.

But it was too late. The demons' powers proved too great, and Xiao fell to the ground, his body broken and battered. As Muchen wept, his father's final words echoed in his mind: "Protect the artifact, Muchen... Leave now..."

Fang, consumed by grief and rage, transformed into a majestic Phoenix, striking the demon lady with fierce determination. But the demon's powers were too strong, and Fang's body exploded in a blaze of fire and ash.

Muchen's world was shattered. He screamed in anguish, his heart torn asunder by the loss of his parents. Aria, her eyes filled with compassion, held him close, her voice whispering words of comfort in his ear.

As the demons closed in for the kill, Aria created a portal, and together, they stepped through the shimmering gateway, leaving behind the carnage and destruction. Muchen's tears fell like rain, his heart heavy with grief, as he realized that his life would never be the same again.Muchen's eyes blazed with anger and a deep-seated desire for revenge as he gazed back at the ruins of the Xing Sect. He could feel the weight of his parents' sacrifice bearing down on him, and his heart burned with a fierce determination to make the demons pay for their brutality.

"I have to go back," Muchen growled, his fists clenched and his eyes flashing with fury. "I have to make them pay for what they've done."

But Aria was too quick for him. With a swift motion, she pinned Muchen to the ground, her hands holding him in a tight grip.

"No, Muchen," she said, her voice firm but gentle. "You can't go back. Not now. You're not ready."

Muchen struggled against Aria's grip, but she held him fast. He could feel the anger and frustration building up inside him, but Aria's words slowly began to sink in.

As he lay there, he thought of Bao and Yong Xing, the only other survivors of the Xing Sect's destruction. He knew he had to protect them, to keep them safe from the demons who had destroyed their home.

With a heavy heart, Muchen slowly nodded, accepting Aria's words. He knew that he couldn't go back, not yet. But he vowed that one day, he would return, and he would make the demons pay for their brutality.

Aria released her grip on Muchen, and he slowly stood up, his eyes still burning with anger and determination. Together, they set off towards a new destination, one that would lead them to safety and, eventually, to revenge.
