As she stepped out of the mansion, Cherry was greeted by the same two men who had picked her up earlier. They escorted her back to her car, and one of them opened the door for her.
"Thank you," Cherry said, smiling politely.
As they drove back to her house, Cherry's mind was racing. How was she going to face Ma'am Rossy and ? What was she going to tell her?
When they arrived at her house, Cherry took a deep breath and stepped out of the car. She walked into the house, where Ma'amRosie was waiting for her in the living room.
"Cherry, how was your meeting?" Ma'am Rossy asked, looking concerned.
Cherry took a deep breath and sat down next to Ma'am Rosst. "I'm getting married, Ma'amRosie," she said, her voice firm.
Ma'am Rossy eyes widened in shock. "What? Cherry, what are you talking about?"
Cherry took another deep breath and explained everything - the contract, the marriage, the money for her brother's surgery.
Ma'am Rossy listened, her expression growing more and more concerned. "Cherry, are you sure this is what you want?" she asked.
Cherry nodded, her eyes firm. "I have to do this, Ma'am Rossy For my brother."
Ma'am Rossy nodded, her expression softening. "Okay, Cherry. I'll support you, no matter what."
Cherry smiled, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. She knew she still had to tell MS Fiona, but with Ma'am Rossy support, she felt more confident.
But as she stood up to go to her room, Cherry couldn't shake off the feeling that she was making a huge mistake.
Cherry tossed and turned in bed, unable to shake off the thoughts racing through her mind. She had made a decision, but it didn't feel right. She felt trapped, like she was sacrificing her own happiness for her brother's sake.
As the night wore on, Cherry finally drifted off to sleep, exhausted from the emotional turmoil.
The next morning, Cherry woke up feeling groggy and uncertain. She got dressed and headed out to Ms Fiona's place hoping to find some clarity and comfort in Ms Fiona's arm
As she walked into Ms Fiona's bar, the familiar sounds and smells enveloped her, providing a sense of comfort.ms Fiona herself was busy mixing drinks behind the counter, but she looked up and smiled as Cherry approached.
"Hey, girl! What brings you here so early I thought I asked you to take a one week rest ?" Ms Fiona asked, concern etched on her face.
Cherry slid onto a stool, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "MS Fiona, I need to talk to you about something."
MS Fiona's expression turned serious. "What is it, Cherry?"
Cherry hesitated, unsure of how to break the news. "I'm getting married," she said finally
Ma'am Fiona's eyes widened in shock as Cherry revealed the news. "You're getting married?" she repeated, her voice trembling with surprise.
Cherry nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yes, Ma'am Fiona. I know it's sudden, but..."
Ma'am Fiona's expression changed from shock to understanding. She knew Cherry had been struggling to make ends meet, and she had been worried about Cherry's brother's surgery.
But then Cherry dropped the bombshell. "I'm marrying Liam, the billionaire," she said, her voice firm.
Ma'am Fiona's jaw dropped. "Liam? The Liam? Oh my goodness, Cherry!"
Cherry nodded, a hint of a smile on her face. "Yes, Ma'am Fiona. That Liam."
Ma'am Fiona looked stunned. "I... I don't know what to say, Cherry. This is... wow."
Cherry laughed, feeling a sense of relief. "I know it's a lot to take in, Ma'am Fiona. But I'm doing this for my brother. He needs the surgery, and Liam is willing to help."
Ma'am Fiona nodded, her expression softening. "I understand, Cherry. I'll support you no matter what. But... wow. Liam, the billionaire. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it."
Ms. Fiona listened attentively as Cherry poured out her heart, sharing her fears and doubts about the upcoming marriage. Ms. Fiona nodded sympathetically, offering words of encouragement and support.
"I don't know how I'm going to do this, Ms. Fiona," Cherry said, feeling a lump form in her throat. "I love my job, I love working with you and the others... but I feel like I'm being forced to give it all up."
Ms. Fiona's expression softened, and she reached out to take Cherry's hand. "You're not alone, Cherry," she said. "We'll miss you, of course, but we'll support you no matter what. You have to do what's best for you and your family."
Cherry nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Ms. Fiona. She knew she could always count on her friend's support.
