Late Reinforcement

As they entered the hall, Eclipse's eyes widened in alarm at the scene before him. The hallway was crowded and chaotic, filled with students and teachers alike, all pushing and shoving each other in a desperate bid to be the first to reach the bunkers. The air was thick with panic and fear, the sounds of screams and cries echoing off the walls.

Despite the chaos around him, Eclipse's mind was focused on a singular fact. "Am I really a jinx?" he thought to himself, his mind racing with the memories of the elders' words. "You are the cause of the death of your parents and as if it wasn't enough, you tried to lay the clan down a dark path by deceiving us all, you are a jinx. The one sent to jinx us to death."

Eclipse's eyes narrowed in anger as he thought about the elders' words. "What do those bastards know?" he thought to himself. "I'm no jinx." But the events of the past few minutes were still fresh in his mind, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was somehow responsible for the destruction that had occurred.

As the crowd surged forward, Eclipse found himself being pushed and shoved along with the rest. He didn't care, his eyes fixed on the staircase leading down to the bunkers. But as they reached the staircase, Eclipse's heart sank. The place was overcrowded, and strangely, everyone seemed to have frozen in place, unsure of what to do next.

Eclipse didn't hesitate, pushing his way through the crowd as he made his way down the staircase. But as he reached the bottom, his eyes widened in horror at the sight before him. On the ground floor, the door leading to the bunkers was blocked by a giant mold of flesh, its body a mass of writhing, pulsing tendrils.

The creature's multiple eyes seemed to be staring straight into Eclipse's soul, its numerous mouths open in a scream of hunger. The air was thick with the stench of rot and decay, and Eclipse could feel the creature's malevolent presence washing over him like a wave.

"Stain," Eclipse muttered under his breath, his eyes fixed on the creature in horror. He felt his mind begin to blank out, his vision narrowing to a tiny point as he stared at the creature.

But as he collapsed onto his knees, his breath seized in his throat, he blanked out , he simply couldn't think anymore, after for a few seconds, Eclipse's mind suddenly snapped back into focus. He looked around, taking in the scene before him. The crowd had dwindled down to just his classmates, the last class to arrive. Strangely, no other class had come after them, and all the non-members of Clan Dawn had passed out, leaving only the members of Clan Dawn conscious.

As Eclipse looked around, he saw the creature begin to move, its long, slimy tongue shooting out of its numerous mouths as it began to feast on the students and teachers alike. Jack, the upper part of his body eaten, the lower part thrown away like garbage. Bella, her body ripped apart by the numerous mouths, her internal organs spilling out onto the floor with a wet splash.

Olivia, dead. Scott, dead. Mia, dead. Mrs. Sandra, dead. Mr. Jenkins, dead. Eclipse watched in horror as one by one, everyone he knew got ripped apart and chewed like some kind of snack.

And then, the creature's eyes focused on him, all of its numerous eyes staring straight into his soul. Eclipse froze, his heart pounding in his chest as he waited for the creature to attack. But instead of attacking him, the creature suddenly turned and began to leave.

Eclipse's eyes widened in shock as he watched the creature walk or rather dragged it's massive body away, its numerous eyes still fixed on him. He felt a surge of frustration and humiliation, was he really worthless that even a beast with an insatiable appetite saw him a walked away.

The creature suddenly stopped, its body vibrating slightly as if listening to something, then without warning the creature turned back to face Eclipse. And then, as if in a frenzy, it shot out a tongue, wrapping it around Eclipse's neck and pulling him towards its numerous mouths.

Eclipse barely had time to react, his mind still reeling from the shock of the creature's sudden attack. He felt himself being lifted off the ground, his body swinging in an arc as he was pulled towards the creature's waiting mouths.

As he stared into the creature's numerous eyes, Eclipse felt alarmed, he was about to be ripped apart by the creature, and eaten.

'No I can't die here I want to live'. But against a monstrosity like this there were little that could be done.

Time seems to have frozen for Eclipse as saw the throat of the creature, even it's throat were filled with sharp rugged teeth. Eclipse desperately tried to look inside himself, hoping that in his moment of despair he would awaken his powers but atlas nothing came. And then.....
