Chapter 1: Rebirth of the Invincible
Darkness. A suffocating, endless abyss.
He could vaguely recall his last moments—betrayal, pain, and then… nothingness. Yet, death had not been the end. It was merely a door, and on the other side, something awaited.
A surge of energy exploded within him. His consciousness snapped back into existence, his body no longer broken, no longer weak. The sensation of raw, limitless power coursed through his veins, as if he had been reforged into something beyond mortal comprehension.
And then—light.
He gasped, drawing in a deep breath of crisp, cool air. His eyes fluttered open, and he found himself lying in the middle of a vast, ancient ruin. Towering stone pillars surrounded him, their surfaces etched with glowing runes. Beyond the ruins, a dense forest stretched toward the horizon, bathed in the golden light of what seemed to be a setting sun.
"Okay… definitely not Earth," he muttered, sitting up. His voice was deep, smooth, carrying an effortless charm.
He raised a hand, clenching and unclenching his fingers. Strength. Pure, undeniable strength surged through his limbs. He felt… different. No, more than different. He felt invincible.
A small chuckle escaped his lips. Then it grew into a full laugh.
"Alright then. New world, new life, and I'm already overpowered. Let's see what kind of mess I can stir up."
The Arrival of Trouble
His moment of self-reflection was cut short by the distant sound of hooves thundering against the ground.
He turned his head, spotting a group of armored knights galloping toward him. Their banners bore the sigil of a golden lion on a crimson field. Their leader—a grizzled man with a scar running down his cheek—pulled his horse to a stop and glared down at him.
"Who the hell are you?" the knight demanded, his tone sharp with suspicion.
"Ah, introductions already? How polite." He smirked, standing up with a lazy stretch. "Let's just say I'm a traveler. A very, very special one."
The knight narrowed his eyes. "These ruins are under the jurisdiction of the Holy Empire. Outsiders are not permitted here."
"Well, good thing I don't follow your rules." He grinned. "Now, why don't you tell me what year it is, where I am, and why you look like you're about to wet yourself?"
The knight growled. "Enough! Seize him!"
The soldiers rushed forward, swords gleaming.
He sighed. "I was hoping to take things slow, but I guess we're doing this the fun way."
Absolute Power
The first knight swung his blade. He didn't dodge. He didn't need to.
The sword slammed into his shoulder—and shattered like glass.
"W-what?!" The knight stumbled back, eyes wide with horror.
He rolled his shoulders. "Huh. That actually tickled. Impressive."
The other knights hesitated, their faces drained of color.
He raised a single hand. Power crackled at his fingertips. The air itself trembled. Then, with a casual flick of his wrist, an invisible force erupted from him.
BOOM!
The knights were sent flying, crashing into trees and crumbling ruins like ragdolls. Their leader barely had time to register what had happened before he found himself pinned against a stone pillar by an unseen force.
"You—you're a demon!" the knight choked.
He chuckled, stepping closer. "Nah, just someone you really, really shouldn't have pissed off."
He snapped his fingers. The bindings around the knight vanished, dropping him to his knees.
"Now, let's try again," he said, crouching down to meet the man's terrified gaze. "Tell me everything I need to know. And in return? I might let you live."
A New Era Begins
That was how it started. A nameless, invincible man in a world of magic and empires.
No destiny. No grand prophecy. Just absolute power and a thirst for fun.
And as the first kingdom learned that day…
Their world would never be the same.
