Elven Kingdom part 1

A whole month had passed, yet nothing much happened in my life—no shocks, no surprises, and certainly no sudden appearance of cute, bubbly, and lovely Pokémon… Ahem, I mean summons. This brought great respite to my family, especially my mother.

I spent the entire month just playing around. I wasn't sure if it was because of my young age or my childish mind, but I loved to play despite the fact that my soul was over fifty years old. Not that I remembered anything from my past life, but still, being a child was fun.

A few days ago, Grandma Amelia took us to meet the Unicorn Leader. The tribe had moved from their previous location and had now settled deeper in the forest. The golden unicorn ponies were thrilled to see us. Fleur and Grandma initially assumed they were merely grateful to me for saving them, but what happened next left them stunned.

The unicorn leader, along with some of the other female unicorns, allowed me to touch their horns. It wasn't that I wanted to—I was more interested in their soft, silvery manes—but when they lowered their heads for me, Fleur and Grandma Amelia stood frozen, staring at me as if I were some kind of monster.

Fleur hesitantly asked, "Grandma, didn't you say unicorns only allow their partners to touch their horns?"

Grandma Amelia hesitated for a moment before sighing and replying, "Remember, as long as it's your brother, common sense doesn't apply."

Both of them exchanged glances before turning to me with expressions that practically screamed, as expected of him.

A certain Fairy Queen, who had been sharing my vision, nodded along in agreement. I couldn't help but facepalm, making the unicorn standing in front of me tilt its head in confusion.

Speaking of Grandma Amelia, she had scolded my father quite a bit a few days ago. When I asked my mother why, she explained, "It's because he doesn't remember much about his ancestry."

Seeing my puzzled expression, she elaborated, "Wizards have a habit of keeping extensive family trees, often dedicating an entire room to showcase their lineage. On the other hand, non-wizard beings, like Muggles, don't follow this tradition. Their family records usually only go back three or four generations. Because of this, Grandma Amelia was quite frustrated when she couldn't establish a clear connection between the DuPont family and the Dumbledore family. So, she scolded your father a lot."

Soon, the day arrived when my parents and I had to leave for the Elven Lands. This time, Grandma Eva would accompany us, as her vacation had come to an end. Fleur and her family were returning to Evol Town, while Grandma Amelia… well, her situation was complicated.

She had originally planned to visit Indonesia and Cambodia to release the Demiguise, Kneazle, Nifflers, and Bowtruckles, but now they refused to leave me. What was supposed to be a straightforward departure turned into a full-scale war last night, with Grandma Amelia on one side and the four fantastic beast groups on the other. Neither was willing to back down.

In the end, seeing no resolution, Grandma Amelia decided to stay in Veela Town for a little while longer. She would accompany us to the Elven Lands before finally heading to the Asiatic regions with her magical creatures.

That brings us to the present. The house elves were busy packing our belongings and loading them onto the carriages, as we had left our car back in Evol Town.

The atmosphere was heavy with emotion. My mother and aunt felt sad about parting ways, and the entire Veela Village had gathered to see us off. Over the past month, I had become well-acquainted with almost everyone. After all, it wasn't every day they saw such a charming, good-looking, and adorable child. Moreover, the small population of the village meant that word of my presence had spread quickly, and I had soon gained an entire village of fans. They were particularly fascinated by my unusual but cute-looking pets.

As we left, I couldn't help but cry. I had grown close to the people of this small village. Even Celia cried along with me, as she had also bonded with the unicorn herd.

Our two carriages set off—one carrying Fleur and her parents back to Evol Town, while the other carried us to the Elven Kingdom.

.....

Last night, knowing that I wouldn't see them again for a while, I had spent the entire night playing with the animals my grandmother had rescued, along with my own pets. Taking advantage of the fact that all the elders were asleep, I even released the Unicorn Phantom, whom I affectionately called Rapidash—because, well, it really did resemble the Pokémon.

The other animals were thrilled to meet a new friend. Brian, my fiery little phoenix companion, immediately challenged Rapidash to a contest to see who could burn brighter. This quickly escalated into a full-blown competition among all the creatures.

As I thought about that night, another memory surfaced—the vision I had when I met the three Fate Goddesses. I hadn't received a blessing from them, but I had been rewarded in another way.

I still remembered the system notification that had left me dumbfounded:

[Ding! Making the Fate Goddesses smile and bringing laughter to the forsaken lands +600,000 Sunshine Points.]

Seeing such an enormous amount of sunshine points, I had been tempted to perform a summoning right then and there. Unfortunately, without a Moonstone, it wasn't possible. That hadn't stopped me from daydreaming about all the different Pokémon I could summon, though.

Apart from this I couldn't help but think about learning some new jokes to make them laugh next time we meet.

....

Because of my sleepless night, I now found myself struggling to stay awake in the carriage. The exhaustion from crying earlier had only made it worse.

As I leaned against the soft cushions of the carriage, my eyelids grew heavier. Before I knew it, I had drifted off to sleep.
