What happens when you throw a person from modern civilization into a jungle of another world?
Well, the answer is as obvious as the sun in the cloudless sky. The same had happened to Ren, who had to travel through a small road in a vast jungle.
When he left from the village, he was practically glowing with energy, but after traveling for six hours straight on foot, even the last speck of energy had left him.
The destination that was supposed to take only two hours of time had taken Ren six hours. Why, you ask? Isn't that obvious? 'Cause he got lost.
That's exactly what happens when a civilized person finds himself on a road in the middle of a jungle. He will get lost, get messed up by animals, fall into traps, etc.
By the time Ren reached the city gates of Poria City, he was thoroughly and utterly exhausted as well as frustrated.
Frustrated because he got lost, which resulted in an extra four hours of travel by foot.
As soon as Ren reached near the city gates, the adrenaline that was keeping him standing wore off, and he collapsed.
He slowly crawled towards the shade of a giant tree. Ren laid down on the giant tree and felt the cold wind caress his tired skin.
The cold was something he desperately didn't need because he was already shivering from exhaustion.
Yes, the shade of the tree wasn't because of the sun but the glorious full moon that was shining brightly in the sky.
He was surrounded by countless bushes and trees in the surroundings.
While muttering curses and complaints, Ren used a little bit of his scattered energy to summon something he desperately needed right now.
In this cold night, when the moon was shining in the sky, what he really desperately needed was…
It was neither food nor water, not even a fire shield, not even the fire spirit.
A bug repeller.

After some time of washing and getting washed, Ren returned under the tree he had previously slept in.
He took out the remaining food and water from his bag and devoured it.
Soon, he stepped inside the city.
The city wasn't as developed as the modern cities on Earth, nor had cars and planes. It was more like a well-developed village, but many times larger.
The roads were bustling with carriages drawn by tamed beasts, as well as people hurrying towards their home or work.
Some houses were new and some were old. A few houses were as tall as twenty meters, but no more than that. Most houses were small ones.
Ren quickly found an inn and booked a room, as well as some bath water. After entering his room, he took a quick bath. Feeling fresh and clean, Ren got out of his newly booked room. He ordered some food to eat.
After eating, he went back to his room to plan his next steps to gather followers.

Step 4: They pray.
"Perfect!" Ren shouted happily while marveling at his own genius.
