Purple two floor Condo apartment. We go into a messy room with junk foods and books on the floor. A young adult girl was sleeping until her alarm went off.

"Shut up!" I shouted.I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. Someone knocked on my bathroom door. "Esper darling.

I was brushing my raven dark hair as my eyes were a chestnut color with freckles to match. "Yes Dad?"

"I made omelette." My Dad walked away. "Noice." I cheered myself up and got dressed, In my favorite Sweater dress. I walk over to a clear glass cage with a hollow out rock and tree branches.

"Wake up Florence." A bearded dragon walks slowly under the rock. I knocked on another glass cage. "Betsy?" I smiled then a King Cobra hissed.

"Good girl." I pull out a live mouse and drop it in the cage. Then a monster noise bark at me.

"Esper River Nightshade!" It was Mother. "Coming Mom!" I ran downstairs. My Mother was reading something on her phone and my Father was making breakfast as I sat down across from her.

"It fine Nicolette whatever Esper was doing it alright." He placed a coffee mug in front of my Mother. "No it not, Everest." She sighed.

"Whatever." I sighed.

"Not whatever!" Nicolette yelled.

"Dad what did you ever see in Mom?!" I argued. Nicolette slammed her hands on the table. "And this is why I told your father to have another child!" She barked. Everest slammed his hand on the table as we stopped.

"Enough!" Everest got up grab two lunch bags and push us out the door and slammed it hard.

I was shocked. "Whoa." Then my Father opened the door back, kissed me on the forehead then my Mother on her lips.

"Have a nice day at work and no killing each other love you both!" He slammed the door agained. As me and my Mother was on a hover bus. Everyone was on their phone or talking with each other.

"Mom?" I turn to her. "Not now, Esper." She dismissed me like always.

St.Johnswort Research Building*

My family is under the Chamomile group. They make drugs for hospitals and research for future treatments. Nicolette look at her pager.

"I have a meeting with the Jasons you know what to do." 

"Yes Mother." I put on my headphone and walked into a lab as I put on my lab coat. There were 8 other people.

"Morning Ms. Nightshade." Zyra greeted me. "Just Esper, how the research on that plant Rue Drew gave us?" I put my hands in the pockets on my lab coat.

"It is perfect Esper!" Lawrence cheered.

"Perfect you say." I look at the reports.

"Yes it can cure minor injuries in a few seconds." Rupert smiled.

"But we have no idea what the name for this plant is." Forrest sighed.

"Maybe we can name it." Hannah shrugged her shoulders.

"How about a cure for all plant?" Naomi smiled.

"Too on the nose how about super cute?" Maggie cheered.

"Sounds like a super hero." Rupert chuckled. Esper clapped her hand.

"We can name it later right now we need to know if it can cure death?" I had evil smirked on my face.

Hannah shook her head. "Esper?"

"I know I just want to help my Father." I sighed.

Lawrence had a sweet smile on his face. "We know but until we test the plant then make the pill okay?"

"Right sorry." I sighed. Nicolette walks in. "I'm back, get to work."

"Right!" Everyone went to there stations. I was trying to find the names for the plants. I clicked my tongue, "Nothing in the plants Holo datas." I drank my coffee.Rupert pulled out 20 hard textbooks. "Time to go old school." He grunted.

"Whoa." I dust off a book and open it. I flipped through some pages. Few hourse later. Someone walk over to me.

"Oh Clover." I look up from the book.

"You look like dirt." Clover chuckled.

"So not bonna of you." I sighed. Clover grab my hand.

"Let's get you out of here." He smiled.

DeathMoon Cafe*

A robot- wait no waiter greeted me she was just different. "Welcome." She greeted us. Her limbs were so amazing to look at the design for her legs and arms as the silver braces cover her triceps and her robotic forearm they never touch are floating close to her.

"Oh Clover it's good to see you." Her name was Susannah. "Hey Ann." Clover wave at her.

"You're usual then." She smiled. "No something new this time." Clover sat down and I sat across from him. I was still staring at her. I wonder what her limbs are made of titanium maybe but it is of higher material?

"City to Esper?" Clover waves his hand in front of my face. "Excuse me but can I touch your arm please?" What I didn't know is that when I'm really happy my face looks evil and full of lust but I couldn't tell myself, that explains why she backed away from me scared. 

"No thank you I will bring out your menu!" She dashed to the back of the Cafe.

"Too much?" I turn to Clover. He nodded. Susannah came back with the menus and stepped back.

"I would like to say sorry I never saw titanium limbs up close so well made." I bowed my head.

"It's alright and you can call me Ann." Susannah smiled. I sighed and ordered.

"Iced Americano with a lemon tart."

"I wanna try the cheese cake this time." Clover smiled. Susannah nodded and walked in the back again. Grey was washing the dishes as she whisper in his ear.

"Esper River Nightshade, age 20 born May 8, 4004. The heir to the St.Johnswort department research you say?" Grey wipe his hands.

"Yes Sir." Susannah nodded. "Very good." Grey nodded back.

"Here are your orders." Susannah places their drinks and tarts on the table. After a few moments I put some gems on the table. Me and Clover walk out.

"That was amazing." I yawned. "Can't wait to see you again, Esper." Susannah clean the table.

Home*

I took off my shoes. "I'm home." I sighed. Everest took some pills. "Welcome home, Sweetie."

"Where's Mom?" I look around. He answered "Still at work but I have dinner ready."

"Figure." I clicked my tongue.

"Esper love, I need you to at least be civil with your Mother after all I don't have that much longer." He smiled.

"Don't say that!" I screamed. He grabbed my hand. "But it is true my dear." I cried.

"No Dad." He pulled me into hug.

That Night*

I was listening to music when there was a knock on my window. "Uh." I opened my window and saw a letter as I picked it up.

"Moonflower boarding school?"

Susannah was on the roof. "3 down, 4 to go."
