Reincarnated!

Alexandra Merritt is a twenty five year old office worker, that works non stop. One of Alexandra's only joys in life is reading novels, it lets her escape into a world of fantasy were she can ignore the problems of real life. Alexandra was on her way back from the office, it was eleven PM and she had missed her bus home, so she had to walk. Her vision was slightly blurry, and she was dizzy but there was nothing she could do about it. Alexandra had called her boss and told him that she had a fever, and probably shouldn't come, but her boss had responded by yelling

"I don't give a damn if your sick! You come today or don't bother showing your face around here again".

Alexandra had rolled out of bed and headed to work with a mask. The whole day she had been coughing and barely able to work. Alexandra's body felt felt like it was about to fall apart, every step she took felt like ten, honestly she didn't think she could make it home. Alexandra had to power through because she remembered that the novel, 'Loving The Saint' had gotten an update, and she hadn't yet, read the new chapter. The novel was honestly a terribly written romance story, it had a bad ending and made absolutely no sense but the characters were well written. Alexandra liked the Villainess of the story 'Reagan Nova Blanc', because she could relate to the character, they both had bad childhoods and had very similar personalities. She thought that if Reagan was real they would be best friends. The rest of the characters were pretty bad like the Crown Prince ended up killing Reagan because he saw her as an obstacle standing between him and the Heroine. Alexandra picked up the pace she couldn't wait to get home and read, she knew that the story was over but there was another bonus chapter that came out today and she couldn't wait. In her rush to get home she hadn't been paying attention to the road and even if she had she wouldn't have seen the truck coming right for her. Alexandra got slammed into by the truck, and flew a couple yards slamming into the glass door of a small store. Her whole body was screaming in pain as she gasped for air, the wind had been knocked out of her and her head throbbed, where it had hit against the glass. Alexandra tried to get up from the floor, but glass from the door cut into her hands. Her body erupted in more pain especially in her chest she looked down and saw a large shard of glass protruding from her chest, Alexandra's vision was spotted with black as she tried to breath but every time she inhaled it felt like millions of needles poking into her throat. Even though she was in immense pain, Alexandra could only think about how she couldn't read the bonus chapter of the novel. Alexandra's vision went black as her body went limp.
