Chapter 56: The Lost Thread

The Weaver's words echoed in Satya's mind as they stepped out of the hut. The air felt heavier, the night darker. Somewhere in the vast, silent landscape, a secret waited to be uncovered—but so did the one who had buried it.

"We need to find that missing thread," Saanvi said, her voice firm. "If it was deliberately hidden, it means someone didn't want the truth to surface."

Professor Raghav adjusted his glasses. "If we assume the Weaver's visions are accurate, then the last clues must be connected to someone in the palace. Someone who knew Meera and Veer personally."

Satya exhaled. "The Rathore family."

Devraj frowned. "But the family moved away decades ago. The estate is abandoned."

"Not entirely," Saanvi whispered.

They turned to her.

"I remember... faintly. When I was searching for clues earlier, I heard rumors that a descendant of the Rathores still visits the old estate. A man named Virendra Rathore."

Satya clenched his fists. "If he's still connected to the past, then he might know about the missing thread."

Saanvi hesitated. "But if he's the one who buried the truth, he won't hand it over so easily."

A cold wind swept through the trees. Satya knew this was their next step, but a dangerous one.

Professor Raghav spoke up. "There's an old saying among historians—truth is the most fragile thing, yet the most dangerous when unearthed."

Satya looked at Saanvi. "Are you ready for this?"

Saanvi nodded, determination in her eyes. "I have to be."

Satya turned toward the distant silhouette of the palace.

"Then let's meet Virendra Rathore."
