where am I?

Speaking of Games, he actually once played a game like this: The X-45; welcome to the jungle.

Maybe this was it again. The difference now was that he was literally playing the main character in the game, by himself. But he doesn't have his guns, his snipers, 42MG guns ... .his…..

That's weird!

Come on dude! You're thinking of games? Really? You're literally in real life, can't you see that? Plus you seem lost in some…maybe alienated world! His thoughts whined on him.

What!

Wait!

"Wait! Could this be Ryan and Alex's plans? To trick me from forgetting their evil deeds? Putting me in some dark cell….More like telling me it was all a prank?"

Shit! my voice!

Damn!

"Anyways, that won't work. Never! I won't take such shit! They think they can come and play mind games with me? I'll tell them that I'm also a dangerous player too.'

I'll definitely take my revenge on those fools. Morons!'

He pounded in his mind as he tried to sit up rightly, he had been lying half bed-sit since he found himself in this strange room. He stretched his legs but it was sized backwards.

"What the hell?" he asked, his eyes flicking towards his lap, knees and then his toes–which were all tied to the bed with some old strips white towels–more like rags actually.

"Oh crab! Where...where the heck am I? And what the hell is this new odd voice I'm having! Huh?" Jake stammered, his voice hoarse from disuse as he looked around the room. It was a bit darker than he actually thought.

"Calm down…young man. You don't want to make your legs hurt any more. Do you? They look really jelly now. You just stay still and allow the aral to heal."

'What? Wait! Who's that?' he twint his eyes to and fro tracing where the sound came from. This time around, he was pretty sure the voice came from outside his head.

"Ryan! This isn't funny okay! You'd better stop this madness and show up yourself. Jerk!" he cursed as he struggled to catch a glimpse of who was actually watching him. It looks like that figure he supposed to be a woman, but something tells him Ryan had something to do with this stupid trick. A set up. He had done something like this before, him and Alex.

The figure started approaching him, her eyes were filled with a mix of curiosity and amusement on how the dude before her was acting.

"Hey! What's Alex? I heard you repeating that word, severally"

"What? Seriously?" he asked in surprise at the question.

"This must be a joke, why…why…." he stammered and paused as he noticed some old features around the woman. She was dressed in ummm… what seems like an attire of the medieval era, with so many beads around her neck and her waist. Wow! Didn't notice her curves, damn! She looks pretty with the umm….

"You are in the kingdom of Everia, sir," she cut him off from his thoughts, in a soft, melodic voice, bringing him back to reality. "You were brought in here after a...a strange occurrence by umm… You know, I can't really explain how it went but it looks odd."

Jake's mind reeled as he tried to process this information. Kingdom of Everia? What was she talking about? He looked around the room again, taking in the medieval decor.

Actually, speaking of what looks odd; I think everything now was really odd. You, my voice, that freaky thing that was talking to me in my head, the environment…. Seriously, where the hell am i?

"Okay, wait …..what..what year is this?" Jake asked, a sense of unease creeping over him, hoping the woman would say it was the 21ths century.

But instead, the woman's expression turned puzzled at his question. Who would ask what year was this? Of course this was the season of Agratha.

"It is the year of our great awakening of Agratha. It has been hundreds of decades since the last awaken in comgol."

"What? Comgol…..What are you saying? No, like…..umm…how'll i put it…..okay, I meant, which year is this? Like what's the year now in your calendar?" Jake questions as if in a haste, a hint of nervousness swimming across his face, his limbs, his eyes, even his voice. The lady could see all of that screaming out.

"It's the year, 1356. Any problem sir?"

Jake's eyes widened in shock. Thirteen fifty what? That was impossible! For Crissake he had been living in the 21st century, living a good life–not too good though–But it was at least better than scrapping around. Working on his damn game, "The Eternal Realms" Which his dummy friends stole from him. How the hell did he even end up here?

Could this transmigration thing he heard in stories be real? Wait! Was it some sort of it or what? Seriously, where the hell was he?

The woman's voice broke into his thoughts again as she seemed to notice the uneasiness that wired all over his face. "Sir, are you alright? You seem troubled."

Alright? Jeez….of course not!

Jake shook his head, trying to clear the cobwebs. How could he even explain that he was from the future. This seems like the famous movie he used to watch when he was still a teen, "back to the future." But his own now was more like "back to the past-past!" To do what exactly?

'To pack some old scraps objects to his present world and go show the public and archeologist what he found during the medieval era through some sort of time travel? And then what? People start clapping for me, giving me awards, putting my name on Brooklyn posters, on CNN news?'

'Nah! That's a bullshit idea, which was ridiculously terrible for me to do. The only award I need now was MGAW (mexico gamer of the year award winner) That's all I want!'

By the way, why did this time-travel shit something not take me to the future? Like the future, future from my present time? At least that would be better! Not the past!'

"Sir?"

"Oh! Ummm….I...I need to know what happened to me. How the hell did I get in here?" He said, with glistening eyes on her.

The woman's expression turned sympathetic at him. She felt the aral was now affecting his memory, cause he was acting so weird, his attirés looked weird too but his attitude was becoming too much. Maybe the aral was affecting his nervous system. That could be why he was acting this weird.

"I think I'll fetch you the para antidote. It'll stabilize your mental health" she said while exiting away into the shadows that she was sitting but this time, it was as if she disappeared from it.

"Wait! Come back….!"
