Prenuptial agreement, deed of sale

Ling Mo was out shopping today when he unexpectedly ran into Lu Han.

It had only been one day, but how did he end up with another woman by his side?

And she's so stunningly beautiful!

Ling Mo felt a mix of envy and jealousy, unable to resist comparing this woman to Su Qingli.

Though she appeared more innocent, her charming and adorable demeanor was captivating.

Especially that pure yet alluring face, which could easily stir up a man's protective and possessive instincts.

But despite his jealousy, Ling Mo saw this as an opportunity to make Chu Ruoyan give up on Lu Han once and for all. He couldn't let this chance slip away.

"Who did you see?" Chu Ruoyan asked from the other end of the phone call. She sat in her office, looking haggard, her voice weak and lifeless.

She had woken up hungover and spent a restless night, her head pounding.

In the past, Lu Han would never have let her suffer like this. He would have massaged her with a pained expression, and his skilled hands, better than any professional masseuse, would have lulled her to sleep without her even realizing it.

Chu Ruoyan missed Lu Han more than ever. Since he left, her days had been miserable. Waking up without seeing him busy in the kitchen, and finding the house in disarray, made her feel lost.

She remembered seeing the plants on the windowsill wilted this morning, realizing they hadn't been watered for days. These little things were always taken care of by Lu Han.

Thinking about how Lu Han used to take such good care of her, Chu Ruoyan felt even worse. What did she get in return for all that care?

Chu Ruoyan deeply regretted her actions. If she could go back to their second anniversary, she would never have gone to that concert with Ling Mo. Otherwise, their home wouldn't be so cold and empty now.

"Ah, here you are, still mourning over Lu Han," Ling Mo sighed heavily. "But do you know he has found more than one woman behind your back?"

Ling Mo's words touched Chu Ruoyan's sensitive nerves. "What do you mean?"

"I took a photo secretly. You should see it for yourself."

Ling Mo sent a photo via WeChat. Chu Ruoyan stared at the screen, seeing Lu Han's bright smile and the cute girl holding his arm affectionately.

Both dressed in white, they looked like a couple.

Who is this girl?!

Chu Ruoyan felt like she was going crazy. The image of Lu Han holding Su Qingli's waist last night was still vivid in her mind, and now he was with another woman? "I told you, Lu Han is a scumbag. You misjudged him," Ling Mo continued to defame Lu Han. "Maybe he used to be a gigolo, and you were just one of his successful catches."

"Yesterday's woman was bad enough, but today's... look at her clothes and bag. It's clear she comes from a wealthy family."

"You've all been fooled..."

Listening to Ling Mo's incessant accusations, Chu Ruoyan subconsciously started believing them. But then she reconsidered.

If Lu Han were really after money, why didn't he continue to deceive her? After all, she hadn't seen through his true nature yet.

Moreover, Lu Han never asked her for money or expensive gifts...

Chu Ruoyan's mind cleared momentarily. No, something wasn't right here!

"Ling Mo, I have something to attend to. Let's talk later."

Chu Ruoyan hung up the phone and immediately called her female assistant in.

"Contact the best private detective in Jiangcheng immediately. Money is no object; I need to see him today!"

Lu Han and Lu Xue had hotpot for lunch. In the autumn and winter seasons, the steaming hot pot filled with spicy and fragrant meat slices was incredibly satisfying.

As they ate and chatted, Lu Han's phone rang. It was Su Qingli.

"Lu Han, the agreement is ready. Can you come and take a look?"

Her pleasant voice came through the phone.

Lu Han chuckled and replied, "So eager, afraid I'll change my mind?"

"A watched pot never boils," Su Qingli said, sounding a bit tired. "Meet me at Wu Tong Ya Ju in an hour."

After hanging up, Lu Xue, who had heard parts of the conversation, curiously asked, "Brother, what agreement? What's going on?"

"Oh, just some small matter," Lu Han casually dismissed her question. "You can go straight home after this. I need to take care of some personal business."

Lu Xue responded with a simple "oh," feeling a bit down about Lu Han's guarded attitude. True siblings would share everything openly, not keep secrets from each other.

But it didn't matter. The girl encouraged herself mentally. Their relationship had improved significantly throughout the morning. With continued effort, this brother would eventually accept her.

After lunch, Lu Han watched the white Porsche Cayenne drive away and hailed a taxi to Wu Tong Ya Ju.

When he entered the private room, Su Qingli was already waiting. She wore a cotton long-sleeved dress, revealing her calves clad in nude pantyhose and diamond-studded high heels. She was elegantly sipping tea.

Lu Han noticed the wool coat draped over the chair next to her but ignored it, sitting down opposite her.

"Lu Han, this is the prenuptial agreement drafted by my lawyer. Take a look and see if there's anything that needs modification or addition."

Su Qingli was surprised by how handsome Lu Han looked in his new outfit but quickly focused on the task at hand.

Professional matters first.

She pulled out the agreement from her bag and pushed it towards Lu Han, her expression complex.

On the surface, it was called a prenuptial agreement. But in reality, wasn't it akin to a contract of servitude?

"Your lawyer is very professional," Lu Han commented after reviewing the document for ten minutes. "I've read through the clauses, and there's nothing wrong."

Su Qingli visibly relaxed, pulling out a pen from her bag and handing it to him. "Since there are no issues, let's sign it."

Lu Han didn't take the pen, instead smiling and saying, "Don't rush. I haven't finished yet."

His words made Su Qingli tense up again. "What else do you want?"

She bit her lip lightly. This agreement had been revised multiple times, with almost every clause favoring Lu Han and disadvantaging her. What could he possibly be dissatisfied with?

If it weren't for the 3 billion promised by the Lu family to save the Su family, she would never have agreed to such terms.

"Add one more clause," Lu Han flipped to the last page, pointing to the blank space. "I have the right to terminate the agreement at any time, and upon termination, the buyback amount will be calculated based on the remaining days or settled according to the original termination date."

This additional clause was clearly advantageous for Su Qingli.

The young lady from the Su family looked puzzled. Why was Lu Han being so kind?
