Gen & Lee Visit the Wedding Venue
Gen and Lee stood in a fancy banquet hall, looking around.
Gen grinned. "Not bad. We can work with this."
Lee frowned. "It's too big."
Gen smirked. "You deserve a grand wedding."
Lee rolled her eyes. "It's fake."
Gen wagged a finger. "Shh, don't ruin the mood."
The wedding planner approached. "So, what theme are we going for?"
Gen thought for a second. "Romantic and elegant."
Lee frowned. "Simple and quiet."
Gen gasped. "Boring."
Lee glared. "You asked for my opinion."
Gen smirked. "And I ignored it."
Lee groaned. "You're impossible."
The planner chuckled. "I see the bride and groom—uh, brides—have different tastes."
Gen grinned. "Oh, we fight about everything."
Lee sighed. "Unfortunately, yes."
Gen put an arm around her. "But that's what makes us fun."
Lee muttered, "That's what makes me tired."
Cake Tasting—Gen's Favorite Part
At the bakery, Gen bounced excitedly. "Cake time!"
Lee crossed her arms. "Can we just pick one and leave?"
Gen gasped. "That's a crime against cakes."
Lee sighed. "Fine. Hurry up."
They sat down as a server brought samples.
Gen took a bite. "Mmm! This one's good."
Lee tried a small bite. "Too sweet."
Gen pouted. "You have no soul."
Lee smirked. "And yet, you're marrying me."
Gen grinned. "Exactly."
Lee tried another one. "This is fine."
Gen shook her head. "No. We need the best."
Lee groaned. "Just pick something."
Gen narrowed her eyes. "This is an important decision."
Lee muttered, "More important than our actual marriage."
Gen gasped. "Correct!"
Lee rubbed her temples. "Why am I here?"
Gen giggled. "To suffer."
Lee sighed. "I hate you."
Gen kissed her cheek. "No, you don't."
Lee turned red. "Stop that."
Gen smirked. "Make me."
Lee groaned.
This was going to be a long day.
Dress Fitting Disaster
Lee stood in front of a mirror in her wedding dress.
Gen sat nearby, watching her. "Damn."
Lee frowned. "What?"
Gen grinned. "You look… wow."
Lee turned red. "Shut up."
Gen smirked. "No way."
The tailor adjusted Lee's dress. "How does it feel?"
Lee sighed. "Tight."
Gen chuckled. "I like it."
Lee glared. "Of course, you do."
The tailor turned to Gen. "And your suit?"
Gen stood up. "Time to look hot."
She disappeared into the dressing room.
A minute later, she walked out in a fitted black suit.
Lee blinked.
Gen smirked. "Like what you see?"
Lee rolled her eyes. "You look ridiculous."
Gen grinned. "You're staring, babe."
Lee turned away. "I'm not."
Gen chuckled. "Liar."
Lee sighed. "Just finish so we can leave."
Gen winked. "As you wish, wifey."
Lee groaned. "Stop calling me that."
Gen smirked. "Never."
Wedding Invitations—Chaos
Gen sat at the table, looking at invitation designs.
Lee yawned. "Just pick one."
Gen gasped. "This is important."
Lee sighed. "They all look the same."
Gen clutched her chest. "How dare you?"
Lee raised an eyebrow. "You're so dramatic."
Gen grinned. "And you love it."
Lee rolled her eyes. "Unfortunately."
Gen smirked. "Admit it. You're excited."
Lee crossed her arms. "I'm not."
Gen leaned closer. "Liar."
Lee looked away. "Shut up."
Gen chuckled. "This is gonna be fun."
Lee sighed. "For you."
Gen winked. "Exactly."
A Late-Night Talk
That night, Lee sat on her couch, staring at her phone.
Gen's name popped up.
She answered. "What do you want?"
Gen's voice was soft. "You okay?"
Lee hesitated. "…Yeah."
Gen sighed. "You sure?"
Lee frowned. "Why do you care?"
Gen chuckled. "Because you're my wife."
Lee muttered, "Not yet."
Gen smirked. "Soon."
Lee sighed. "Why are you calling?"
Gen paused. "Just… wanted to hear your voice."
Lee's heart skipped. "You're annoying."
Gen chuckled. "And yet, you answered."
Lee sighed. "I hate you."
Gen smiled. "Love you too, babe."
Lee groaned.
This wedding was going to be chaos.
