Chapter 10

"Everett, Vivienne deserved worse. Why didn't you let your sisters deal with her? Why just bankrupt her company? After what she did to you..."

I spoke softly, a smile playing on my lips.

"Big sis, there's no need to have blood on our Everhart family's hands."

Vania understood perfectly. She released the news of Vivienne's affair with Brent, and then had paparazzi dig up information about Brent's part-time jobs at various nightclubs.

Online public opinion was overwhelmingly one-sided, filled with voices cursing them as scumbags and cheap women.

There were also mocking comments about Vivienne:

"She must be blind, giving up the devoted and powerful Everhart family's young master to cheat."

"She just likes to eat others' leftovers. A woman who can't control her own heart deserves what she gets."

Stratton's company's stock plummeted. Having offended the Everhart family, no business partner dared to cooperate with her again.
