Dear Readers,
What a journey it has been watching Moreau rise, step by step, through fire and politics. This novel has grown alongside me, and I'm deeply grateful to every one of you who stood by, encouraged me, and made this story what it is today.
But this past month has been one of the hardest for me and this novel. Piracy has taken a toll and while I understand that many readers genuinely can't afford subscriptions, the impact on me as the author has been devastating. Last month, what I used to earn in a single day now takes four. Despite steady readership, very few are subscribing anymore.
As a student, this novel has been more than just a passion it's also my livelihood. Watching it collapse due to piracy has been crushing. I never thought I'd have to write something like this, but here I am, torn between continuing and giving up.
Still, I haven't dropped this story. Not yet. And I don't want to. But I need your help.
If you've loved Moreau's journey if you've found something special in these chapters please consider subscribing. If piracy continues to drain the story's life, I may have no choice but to reduce updates to 1–2 chapters per week, solely for the readers who've supported me from the beginning.
I'm not asking for much just a little support from those who can afford it. Let's keep this world alive, together.
With gratitude,
Clautic
