A sensitive topic.

Julian sensed that something was amiss, wondering why Johnson would voluntarily surrender to the police. Abigail, on the other hand, was aware that Caleb had somehow obtained the USB drive from Johnson, a feat that didn't seem possible given Johnson's stubborn nature.

Abigail's curiosity was piqued, and she couldn't help but wonder how Caleb had managed to extract the USB drive from Johnson. What had driven Johnson to surrender? She began to ask herself questions, speculating that Caleb must be an influential person who had somehow intimidated or persuaded Johnson to cooperate.

Was Caleb someone who wielded significant power or authority? Had he somehow manipulated Johnson into surrendering? Abigail's mind was filled with questions, and she was determined to uncover the truth behind Caleb's involvement.

"Are you sure?" Julian asked, his eyes narrowing slightly as he awaited Abigail's response. She nodded solemnly, her expression confident.

Just then, Harper burst into the room, her eyes scanning the space until they landed on Abigail. A squeal of delight escaped her lips as she rushed towards Abigail, enveloping her in a warm hug.

"I'm so proud of you!" Harper exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion. "You're amazing, Abigail!"

Abigail hugged Harper back tightly, a happy smile spreading across her face. Harper's eyes sparkled with excitement as she exclaimed, "This calls for a celebration! We should arrange a big dinner and invite everyone to join in the festivities!"

Abigail's smile grew even wider as she nodded enthusiastically, already imagining the joy and laughter they would share around the dinner table.

Abigail returned home, feeling utterly exhausted from the day's events. She collapsed onto her bed, surrendering to her fatigue, and soon fell into a deep and restful sleep.

The sound of her alarm pierced through the silence the next morning, jolting Abigail awake. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, slowly coming to as the morning light streamed into her room.

The doorbell rang, and Abigail opened the door to find Harper standing with a huge bag of groceries. "I thought we were going out for dinner?" Abigail asked, surprised.

Harper's face lit up with excitement. "That would be boring! We'll cook together, sing, and dance. It'll be so much more fun!" She continued, "Mason told me that Julian is being discharged, and Ethan will bring him over this evening. We have so much to celebrate! Julian's recovery and your headline news – it's all amazing!"

Abigail smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. The USB drive that had once threatened to ruin Harper's life was now a distant memory. She was relieved to think that Johnson would no longer bother Harper.

Just then, Harper exclaimed, "We should go to my grandma's place! Her backyard is the best. We can celebrate there!"

Caleb stepped out of the meeting room, feeling satisfied with the discussions he'd had with the producers and hosts. As he checked his phone, it rang, displaying Abigail's name on the screen. Caleb's expression turned slightly cold, thinking to himself that Abigail hadn't even bothered to send a simple text message after everything he'd done for her.

He answered the call, his tone neutral. "Why are you calling?"

Abigail's voice came through the line, sounding cheerful. "Hi MD, are you free? I was wondering if we could meet up at a cafe?"

Caleb hesitated for a moment, intentionally playing it cool, before agreeing to meet Abigail. He wanted to appear nonchalant, as if her request was no big deal.

When he arrived at the cafe, he was greeted by Abigail's warm smile. Her bright face lit up the room, and Caleb felt a subtle sense of relief wash over him. He couldn't quite put his finger on why, but seeing her usual radiant self somehow made him feel more at ease.

As Caleb approached, Abigail greeted him with a subtle smile. "MD, I ordered your usual black coffee," she said, trying to impress him with her thoughtfulness.

Caleb sat down, his eyes locking onto hers for a moment. "Why are you acting so uncomfortable?" he asked, his tone gentle but inquiring.

Abigail's eyes darted away before returning to his. "I'm not uncomfortable," she replied, her voice measured. She paused, pursing her lips for a second, before continuing, "Actually, I'm very thankful to you. I don't have the words to express just how grateful I am..."

"Don't get complacent just because you've won 1 billion," Caleb cautioned. "Tomorrow's live show is still a big opportunity. Don't take it lightly."

Abigail's eyes sparkled with determination as she replied, "Of course not! Why would I? Having my clothing line featured on a major TV channel has always been my dream. I'm not going to let this chance slip away."

Caleb savored his coffee in silence, while Abigail seemed lost in thought. Suddenly, she spoke up, "MD, about Johnson's..." But her words trailed off as a middle-aged woman approached their table, calling out to Caleb.

"Aunt," Caleb said, standing up to greet her. The woman, Miley, beamed with joy. "It's been a long time! How are you?" she asked, embracing Caleb warmly.

"I'm good," Caleb replied, smiling. Miley's gaze turned to Abigail, who looked caught off guard. "Girlfriend?" Miley asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Caleb quickly intervened, "Yes." Abigail, still looking a bit flustered, stood up and extended her hand. "Hello," she said, forcing a smile.

"My friend Barron's mom," Caleb explained, filling in the connection.

Abigail's smile widened as she said, "Oh, nice to meet you!" Her warm demeanor put Miley at ease.

Miley's eyes sparkled as she gazed at Abigail. "You're so lovely," she said, her voice sincere.

Abigail's cheeks flushed slightly as she replied, "Thank you." With a final smile, Miley nodded and gave them some space, allowing Caleb and Abigail to return to their conversation.

Abigail glanced at Caleb and pushed a smile. "What?" Caleb asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Abigail's curiosity got the better of her. "MD, you're smart, handsome... why don't you have a girlfriend?" she asked, her tone playful.

Caleb's expression turned wry. "It's not that I couldn't get a girlfriend," he said, his voice tinged with sarcasm. "I just don't want to be in a relationship," he added sharply.

Abigail's words tumbled out without much thought. "Why? Because you still haven't forgotten your ex?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Caleb's face darkened, his eyes flashing with a mix of anger and hurt. He turned and walked away, his long strides devouring the distance. Abigail's eyes widened in horror as she realized her mistake. She quickly followed after him, but Caleb's pace was relentless, forcing her to break into a slight jog to keep up.
