During this time, his companions evolve to a new level, becoming advanced beings, while the zombies also evolve—from mindless creatures to Zombie Lords capable of speech and thought.

Through sheer determination, Lex manages to survive for a decade. But one day, he faces an evolved Zombie Lord. Despite Lex becoming a Level 2 superhuman after ten years of grueling struggle, the Zombie Lord proves stronger and he killed him

Mysteriously, Lex returns to his original world. Now, he vows not to live like a roach in this apocalypse but to become so powerful that no one in the NEON world can rival him.

"Could it be that because of me, the events meant to happen in the timeline are occurring seven days earlier in this world? If that's true, I need to start my plans immediately," Lex thought seriously.

When the mutated dogs entered a 20-meter range, Lex's Absolute Eye automatically provided the information.

"Hm! Level 0.5," Lex read the details on the screen. In truth, he already knew what level they had evolved to.

"Ah! Maybe the smell of human flesh drew you all the way here," Lex realized as he saw drool dripping from the mutated dogs' mouths.

When normal dogs outside the city mutated, they immediately picked up Lex's scent and rushed to his hideout without stopping.

The three dogs charged toward Lex at high speed.

"Too bad you picked the wrong human to satisfy your hunger!"

Lex bent his knees slightly and launched himself into the air, soaring five meters off the ground in mere milliseconds.

The dogs, confused by his sudden disappearance from their sight, looked around frantically. By the time they detected Lex's scent again, it was too late.

Lex clenched his fist tightly from above and struck the middle mutated dog with a powerful blow.

The force of Lex's punch was too much for the mutated dog to withstand, and its body exploded on impact.

The death of their companion didn't faze the other two dogs. Instead, they immediately lunged at Lex, who was now back on the ground.

"Maybe I need to control my strength when I attack,"

Lex thought. He had used his full power in that punch, and seeing the mutated dog's remains scattered across the open ground in front of his hideout felt disgusting. He'd have to clean up the body parts himself.

As the two mutated dogs closed in to within two meters of Lex, his Absolute Eye began to indicate:

[ WARNING: Right mutated dog will attack from the right in 4.3 seconds

WARNING: Left mutated dog will attack from the left in 4.5 seconds

SUGGESTION: Take two steps back within 4 seconds

Lex had already anticipated their attack. He had fought mutated dogs in the parallel world before, though it had taken more effort back then.

Now, with his enhanced strength and eight years of combat experience, he wasn't fazed.

Still, he was getting irritated by that voice. In the parallel world, he relied on reading the blue screen to dodge and attack, with timing varying by a few seconds.

But now, on top of the screen's text, that mysterious voice was reading the warnings aloud, spelling everything out for him.

Lex quickly took two steps back, and the two mutated dogs collided with each other. Seizing the opportunity, he drew a knife from his waist and swiftly plunged it into the skull of the left mutated dog.

He yanked the knife out and, with a quick spin, slashed at the right mutated dog.

The head of the right mutated dog was severed and fell to the ground. Both dogs were dead. Then—

"Ah, seriously! You're making me feel like a child."

Lex muttered. In the parallel world, the "Safe" message used to bring him relief and satisfaction. But now, it felt strange, as if he were a child being spoon-fed instructions.
