Cultivation Realms (Based on Reverend Insanity)
Cultivation in the Gu World is based on the fusion of primitive essence with Gu to increase the level of a Gu master.  In the case of the protagonist, his Celestial Diagram allows him to mix this system with Qi cultivation techniques.
Here is the progression of cultivation realms that we will follow for the protagonist:
Apprentice of Master Gu (1st to 9th level)
Initial phase where Master Gu collects and learns to manipulate weak Gu.
Han Feng has already passed this phase and advanced to the Master Gu Realm.
Master Gu (Rank 1 to 5)
Each rank advancement increases the capacity for primitive essence and control over Gu.
Han Feng is currently Rank 1, but secretly cultivating.
He needs to evolve without drawing attention, concealing his progress.
Master Gu Immortal (Rank 6 to 9)
Transcend mortality and refine the immortal essence.
Han Feng can mix the power of Qi cultivation, creating a unique method.
Sovereign Venerable (Rank 10 - Demigod)
Few reach this level.  Example: Venerable Immortal Renegade.
In the future, Han Feng may reach that level and challenge the supreme powers.
Supreme Being (Below only the Dao)
Transcendent existences that touch the Supreme Dao.
Only legendary figures have reached this level.

Chapter 14: The Connection Between the Gu

The cave remained silent, except for the faint sound of the Nebulous Wolf's breathing and the occasional glow of the Mysterious Gu's chrysalis.

Han Feng, hidden in the shadows, did not take his eyes off the scene before him.

"The wolf is nurturing Gu, but why?"

He had already confirmed that the Dual Chaos Larva was a potential catalyst, but he still didn't know exactly how to use it without drawing attention.

It was a puzzle that required patience to solve.

Closing his eyes, Han Feng concentrated his mind within his sea of consciousness, where the Celestial Diagram pulsed like a starry sky.

With extreme caution, he channeled a strand of Qi modified by the Dual Chaos Larva and sent it towards the Mysterious Gu.

The chrysalis trembled slightly, absorbing the energy as if it were thirsty for it. A spiral pattern shone on its surface before disappearing.

"It worked!" Han Feng thought, excitedly.

But then, something unexpected happened.

The Mist Wolf abruptly raised its head, sniffing the air. His amber eyes glowed, and a subtle pressure spread through the cave.

The wolf had sensed the change in the flow of energy!

He couldn't move or reveal his presence. If he were discovered now, he would have to fight... and that would attract unnecessary attention.

The Misty Wolf growled softly, its eyes scanning the cave for any threat.

After a few moments of absolute tension, he lay down next to Gu again, although he remained alert.

I got too close. I have to be more careful.

This meant that Gu and the Wolf had a deep connection, something beyond a simple guardian and protected. Maybe the wolf needed Gu as much as Gu needed him.

Han Feng mentally noted this discovery. If he wanted the Gu, he would have to understand this relationship better before intervening.

But there was an even bigger problem.

While absorbing all of this, he felt a shiver run down his spine.

Another being was approaching the cave.

Han Feng closed his eyes and expanded his perception. The presence was strong, laden with sharp and deadly Qi.

He immediately hid even deeper in the shadows, activating his Celestial Veil Art to erase his presence.

Moments later, footsteps echoed through the entrance of the cave.

A cold voice cut through the silence:

"I knew there was something rare here." Finally, I found it.

Han Feng frowned. Who was that person? Was he behind Gu too?

If he wanted to claim Gu without drawing attention, he would need to act with extreme caution.

The real game of shadows was just beginning.
