Brrrr! Brrrr! Brrrr!
"Uhhh..." Daniel groggily woke up, his hand fumbling to stop the incessant beeping of his alarm clock.
'What time is it?' he thought, his mind foggy. He tried to glance at his wristwatch, but when he did, his heart skipped a beat. His hand... it was too small. "What the hell?!"
His hands were tiny, like those of a ten-year-old, and as his gaze flicked around the room, his stomach lurched. 'This isn't my room.' Panic clawed at him, but then, like a torrent, a flood of memories rushed into his mind - his death, his conversation with the ROB, and... his reincarnation.
'So it was all real...' His thoughts raced, still clouded with disbelief. "Right, the ROB promised me wishes..." He whispered the words, excitement creeping in despite the confusion.
How do I open my system?
"Menu?"
Suddenly, a blue screen materialized right in front of his face, startling him.
[Main Menu]
[Stats] | [Skills] | [Inventory] | [Quests]
His heart pounded in his chest. 'What the hell?!' But the screen didn't disappear. 'Okay... let's see.' He tried to calm himself, and his eyes locked on the "Stats" tab.

'Nice, all the wishes really were granted by that ROB', Daniel thought as he read through the list of his new abilities. But then, his eyes landed on the MP next to his Multiverse Travel skill.
"What?!"
He tried to activate the skill, but was immediately hit with a bright red warning text:
[Insufficient Mana to activate the skill.]
"I need mana to activate it?" His stomach sank. But how much mana? He didn't know the cost, and it was hard to judge whether he'd be able to use it in the next few levels or if it would take ages to grind it out. Well, at least I have the skill... he tried to stay optimistic as he turned to check his inventory and quests.
Both were empty.
He sighed, closing the system windows. Now, let's see where I am, he thought, pushing the unsettling feeling aside. He looked around.
He was in a small room. The walls were painted a pale beige, showing signs of wear and tear. A single window let in a little natural light, though the curtains were simple and worn out. The room contained a modest bed with a thin, slightly lumpy mattress, a faded blanket, and a few small, mismatched pillows. A wooden dresser stood in one corner, its paint chipped from use. There was a small, worn-out rug in the center of the room, frayed at the edges. A single worn-out desk sat next to the bed, with a simple chair beside it. The whole place felt... bare. Quiet.
'Where am I?' he thought. His mind raced for answers, but the silence was overwhelming.
Then, as if in response, something new appeared.
You have obtained a skill through continuous effort: [Observe (Active) Lvl 1]
'Already?' He was surprised at how quickly his efforts had paid off. 'Let's see the description.'
[Observe (Active) Lvl 1]
[- Lets the user find information about a target.]
Oh, the description's a little short, but... to the point. He tried to remain optimistic. Let's test it out. He turned his attention to the worn rug in the center of the room.
[Worn-out Rug]
[A worn-out rug.]
'Is that it?' His shoulders slumped in disappointment. But he wasn't ready to give up just yet. He began scanning everything in the room, one object at a time.
[Curtains]
[Bed]
[Pillow]
[Your skill has leveled up.]
'Nice!' he thought, excitement bubbling up again. 'Let's keep going.' He quickly resumed his observations, this time with a renewed sense of purpose. By the end of his little escapade, his skill leveled up once more.
[Observe (Active) Lvl 3]
[- Lets the user find information about a target.]
'So the description doesn't change... or maybe my skill isn't high enough yet for it to change?' he thought, frustration building. Still, he got out of bed, determined to explore the room further. As he approached the drawer of the desk, ready to investigate, he froze.
A knock echoed through the room.
