The conference room at 'The Dee Enterprises' buzzed with activity as Drake Sinclair addressed his executive team. Charts and projections filled the large screen behind him as he detailed the company's quarterly performance.
"As you can see from these figures, our expansion into the Asian market has exceeded expectations by nearly eighteen percent." Drake said, gesturing to the graph, from where he was seated.
"Mr. Lawson's team deserves special recognition for—"
His phone beeped. Drake paused mid-sentence, glancing down at the notification. An unknown number. He frowned slightly and continued.
"—for their exceptional work in securing the partnerships that have made this possible."
"I know they---"
His phone beeped again, more insistently this time. Drake's jaw tightened as he cast another glance at the screen. His expression suddenly changed, as he saw part of the message, the color draining from his face.
