The sound of hammering finally came to a stop when the last nail went in with a solid thunk.
Auri stepped back and looked the stall over, admiring how his simple sketch came to life in the proper hands. The stall stood proudly—simple but unmistakably different from the usual merchant booths. The RPG-ish design was Auri's signature touch.
"I didn't think it would turn out like this," Hawad said as he inspected his finished work. "Looks more decent than any stall I ever made."
"That's because we work well together," Auri said, tilting his head to the side, a faint smile curling at the edge of his lips. "Synergy makes things look better than they are."
There was a long pause before a reply came.
"... Yeah." Hawad cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck with a sheepish grin. "We make a good team. It's like we're destined to be partners."
Auri ignored the last part and gave the frame a solid shake—nothing wobbled. Good.
