Sing

The next day, the morning sunlight streamed through the bedroom window, illuminating the room with a golden glow. Luo Fan blinked his eyes, feeling a bit drowsy. He turned to the side and immediately saw Luo Tian's face, still peacefully asleep.

He sighed. "So last night wasn't a dream..." he muttered in his heart.

However, he decided to act as if nothing had happened. If Luo Tian was really a transmigrator, he would eventually realize it himself. For now, Luo Fan just wanted to go about his day as usual.

Carefully, he got out of bed and stretched before stepping down. As soon as his feet touched the floor, he heard a sleepy voice behind him.

"Where are you going?" Luo Tian opened his eyes and lazily gazed at Luo Fan.

Luo Fan turned around and smiled. "To the bathroom, of course. I'm not a slacker like you."

Luo Tian let out a small snort before burying his face back into the pillow.

Luo Fan found his brother's behavior strange.

Usually, his brother was very diligent. Why was he acting lazy today?

Could it be because of his dream?

Luo Fan just shook his head and went to the bathroom to wash his face and get ready. A few moments later, he came out feeling refreshed and returned to his room to change clothes.

After dressing neatly, he walked to the dining room, where his parents were already seated and enjoying breakfast. His mother looked at him with a gentle smile.

"Good morning, dear. Did you sleep well?"

Luo Fan nodded and sat in his chair. "Pretty well."

Soon, Luo Tian also arrived and sat beside him, looking as elegant as ever.

Their father looked at Luo Fan with slight curiosity. "So, you really want to learn Taekwondo?"

Luo Fan, who was taking a piece of toast, nodded. "Yes. I need to become stronger."

His mother smiled. "Alright, we'll arrange classes for you later. If you really want to do this, we will support you."

"Thank you, Mom, Dad!" Luo Fan smiled in satisfaction.

Breakfast continued warmly, without bringing up last night's strange conversation. As if everything was just as usual.

After finishing their meal, Luo Fan and Luo Tian prepared to go to kindergarten. Their father helped them put on their school bags before they stepped outside toward the waiting car.

Inside the car, the atmosphere felt quiet. Usually, Luo Fan and Luo Tian would talk about various things, whether trivial matters or just joking around with each other. But this time, not a single word was exchanged between them.

Luo Fan glanced at his brother sitting beside him. Luo Tian was simply staring out the window with a calm expression, yet somehow, he seemed a bit different from usual.

"Is he still thinking about his dream last night?" Luo Fan wondered in his heart.

Although he found this silence strange, Luo Fan didn't dwell on it too much. He just shrugged his small shoulders and chose to stay quiet until they arrived at kindergarten.

As soon as the car stopped, Luo Fan got out first. That was when he noticed another luxury car stopping right next to theirs.

The car door opened, and a little girl with long hair stepped out gracefully. It was Su Xiaoyu.

Their eyes met for a brief moment.

However, instead of greeting Luo Fan, Su Xiaoyu immediately beamed at Luo Tian. "Luo Tian! Good morning!"

Luo Tian gave a slight nod. "Morning."

Meanwhile, Luo Fan, standing beside them, felt completely ignored. He squinted his eyes and crossed his arms. "Hey, I'm here too, you know?"

Su Xiaoyu glanced at him briefly, then gave a sly smile. "Oh? I didn't see you."

Luo Fan snorted.

Su Xiaoyu just giggled before walking into the school with Luo Tian by her side.

Luo Fan let out a long sigh. "Why does it always feel like I'm the third wheel?" he muttered before finally following them inside.

Upon entering the classroom, the atmosphere was already lively with children chatting and playing at their desks. Luo Fan walked to his seat and placed his bag on the table as usual.

Luo Tian sat quietly in his usual spot, while Su Xiaoyu immediately joined a group of girls.

Soon, Miss Li, their teacher, entered the classroom with a warm smile. "Good morning, children! Today, we'll start with a singing activity to boost our energy!"

The children quickly stood up, ready to sing. Music began to play, and cheerful voices filled the room.

Luo Fan, for some reason, felt a bit too lazy to sing. He just stood there in silence.

However, as the song was about to end, Su Xiaoyu suddenly raised her hand. "Miss Li! Luo Fan didn't sing!"

Luo Fan's eyes widened. "Hey! You did that on purpose, didn't you?!"

Miss Li looked at Luo Fan gently. "Luo Fan, why didn't you sing along?"

Luo Fan replied without changing his expression, "Teacher, I did sing…"

Seeing Luo Fan trying to lie, Su Xiaoyu immediately spoke loudly, "Teacher, I swear I'm not lying. Luo Fan didn't sing earlier!"

Miss Li glanced at Su Xiaoyu, who seemed to be telling the truth, then turned back to Luo Fan.

Miss Li smiled. "In that case, why don't you sing by yourself now? That way, your enthusiasm can spread to your friends."

Luo Fan's eyes widened. "What?! By myself?!"

The children started whispering, some barely holding back laughter. Luo Tian remained seated with a neutral expression, as if enjoying the situation.

Su Xiaoyu looked at Luo Fan with a mischievous smile. "Come on, Luo Fan! Show us your voice."

Luo Fan let out a small sigh, realizing he had no choice.

But in his heart, he swore he would remember this moment.

Seeing Su Xiaoyu's smug expression, he felt his irritation rising.

As Luo Fan reluctantly started singing, Su Xiaoyu immediately smirked and whispered just loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Luo Fan, you sound like a duck!" she said, barely holding back laughter.

Several children immediately chuckled, making Luo Fan's face turn red.

"This part should be sung louder, Luo Fan!" called out a boy in the front row.

"Come on, put more energy into it!" added a girl with sparkling eyes.

Luo Fan gritted his teeth, but he had no choice but to keep singing.

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star…"

"Heh, even my cat at home sings better," Su Xiaoyu whispered with a satisfied expression.

"Luo Fan, try singing it faster!" shouted another boy, laughing.

"What's a fast version?!" Luo Fan responded, still singing with a trembling voice.

"Yeah, try singing it faster! Maybe it'll sound better!" another boy teased.

Luo Fan sighed internally. Damn it… Su Xiaoyu, I won't forget this…

Su Xiaoyu suddenly covered her ears dramatically. "Ouch, my ears hurt! Luo Fan, can you sing a little softer?"

Once again, the children burst into laughter. Some even covered their ears, pretending to be in pain.

Luo Fan glared at Su Xiaoyu sharply.

Su Xiaoyu just giggled. "I'm just making things more fun~"

Miss Li finally clapped her hands to calm the class. "Alright, that's enough. Luo Fan, thank you for singing."

Luo Fan immediately sat down, looking sulky.

But Su Xiaoyu wasn't done. She rested her chin on her hand and smiled brightly. "Luo Fan, you should practice more often. If not, I'm afraid that when we grow up, your voice will still sound like this~"

Luo Fan shot her a sharp look. "Hmph! We'll see about that."

Miss Li smiled. "Alright, children, now let's continue with our first lesson!"
