"Come again!"
Suddenly, Di Ping shouted angrily, and his entire body burst with power. The fierce energy swirled around him like a violent storm, kicking up dust and making it hard for onlookers to open their eyes.
"Woof woof!"
The mutated Tibetan Mastiff, seemingly surprised by Di Ping's quick recovery, roared angrily after realizing that its previous attack had no effect. It lunged at Di Ping once more.
"Charge!"
Di Ping moved quickly, like a human-shaped berserk dinosaur. His speed was so fast it seemed like teleportation, leaving afterimages in his wake as he crossed the distance in an instant. Before the mutated Tibetan Mastiff could react, Di Ping was already in its face, slamming his elbow, as hard as an iron mountain, into its chin.
"Boom!"
A thunderous sound rang out as the mutated Tibetan Mastiff let out a painful howl and was sent flying through the air, blood spraying from its body.
The spectators were all stunned by this sight. Was this still a human? It looked more like a berserk dinosaur! The collision was completely disproportionate, like seeing someone knock over a huge elephant. They had no idea that, at his peak of rage, Di Ping's strike could generate over a thousand pounds of force. Not even this mutated Tibetan Mastiff would be able to withstand it, let alone a massive elephant.
"Charge!"
Di Ping, now wild like a tiger, activated his ability once more. His whole body gathered strength, and with a powerful push of his legs, he shot forward like a cannonball, slamming into the still-flying mutated Tibetan Mastiff.
"Boom!"
"Crack crack!"
The second collision sounded even more intense as the Mastiff, caught midair by Di Ping, was struck as if it were hit by a freight train. Its huge body flew out even faster, accompanied by the sound of breaking bones.
"Boom!"
The mutated Tibetan Mastiff's massive body crashed into a thick concrete pillar in the underground mall.
"Woof woof!"
It let out a horrifying scream, blood pouring from its mouth like a fountain.
"Charge!"
Covered in blood, whether his own or the Mastiff's, Di Ping, now completely mad, activated his charge ability again, his eyes bloodshot with rage. Despite the searing pain in his body, he didn't care. He shot forward once more, like a furious bull, slamming into the Mastiff's body as it slid downward.
"Boom!"
"Crack!"
The sound of impact shook the entire underground mall. The concrete pillar wobbled, and the ground seemed to tremble beneath everyone's feet. The Mastiff's bones cracked again.
"Thud!"
More blood splattered from the Mastiff's mouth as it slid down the pillar, its eyes losing their shine, and its body limp.
"I'll show you! I'll show you!"
Di Ping, now resembling a madman, grabbed the Mastiff's long fur, forced its massive head down onto the ground, and began hammering it with his fists, as if using a sledgehammer.
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
The heavy sounds of his fists pounding the ground echoed through the mall. Everyone watched in shock. With each blow, the spectators flinched as though the punches were landing on them. The furious Di Ping was even more terrifying than the mutated dog itself.
Blood splattered everywhere—on the walls, the ground, and even on the people nearby. It was as if the blood carried a potent virus, causing everyone to step back in fear of being contaminated.
"Master! It's dead!"
At this moment, a delicate hand touched Di Ping's shoulder. A soft voice like a cool, calming breeze entered his ears, easing his raging mind. The serene energy flowed through him, gradually calming his violent temper. When the last breath of coolness hit his brain, Di Ping finally snapped out of his frenzy.
Seeing himself covered in blood, his eyes filled with disgust as he realized how mad he had been. He must have been possessed by rage. If not for Gina's timely intervention, he might have harmed someone. In his enraged state, he could have attacked even those closest to him.
Gratefully, he glanced at Gina, seeing the concern in her eyes. He forced a smile, though it came off more as a grimace, not quite the reassuring smile he intended.
A bottle of water was handed to him. Di Ping recognized it was from Gina. He didn't hesitate and washed the blood off his hands and face. He didn't need a mirror; the now-unrecognizable corpse of the mutated Tibetan Mastiff was proof enough of how terrifying his actions had been. His clothes were drenched in blood, and his face was no exception.
After washing up, Gina gently wiped his face with a tissue, her soft hand carefully tending to him. Di Ping looked at her, her pale face now flushed, her eyes filled with concern as she focused on him. The delicate fragrance of her skin reached him, calming his once-turbulent mind.
Gradually, his fury subsided. He looked at this girl he had brought from another world. Now, she was no longer the innocent child but a mature, graceful young woman.
"Thank you, Gina!" Di Ping smiled, gratitude evident in his eyes as he took the tissue from her hand.
"Master, please don't say that. It's what Gina is supposed to do!" Gina blushed as Di Ping's fingers brushed hers, quickly pulling her hand back. Her eyes avoided his, no longer daring to meet his gaze.
