The morning rush at The Hollow Bean was as predictable as ever—freshly brewed coffee, the scent of warm pastries, and the comforting murmur of customers catching up on town gossip. Celine worked methodically behind the counter, her hands moving on autopilot as she filled orders. But her mind was elsewhere.

Yesterday’s encounter with the two suited men still lingered in her thoughts. Something about them had unsettled her, and she wasn’t sure if it was just their presence or the fact that Cleo had looked equally wary after hearing about them.
