Chapter 3: White Fin Guild

"I told you, I won't give this woman to you. If you want her, then you must kill me first." Everyone laughed because of what Leviticus' said. While me, still thinking on how can I help him with this dangerous matter. That scarred man can control fire, Leviticus can do such thing as well but the difference was, the enemy's fire is hot. I can feel it from here. But Leviticus' fire, it doesn't have any burning effect on me.

"Are you really sure about that, boy? You already knew that your fire is nothing compared to me... it's the weakest form of fire." Weakest form of fire?

"I don't care about your opinions, my fire can still burn you and your minions." Leviticus confidently uttered back. I don't know, but I'm the one who is scared for him.

"You have the guts boy, knowing that you already knew that you'll die in my hands." Scarred man is full of violent words. He is more confident it is because he knew that he's stronger than this guy with me. And it seems like I've become a burden to him. Maybe, I was the reason why those enemies went here.

"Leo, we have to go back in the guild as soon as possible!" All of us stared at the guy who's now in front of the scarred man. I noticed that he's panicking and his hands are trembling. "Our guild is under attack!" He horrifyingly added.

"What?!" The scarred man named Leo shouted. He is now frowning and his red eyes are now in rage!

"We have to go!" The other men panicked as well. Leo stared at Leviticus exasperatedly and then sighed frustratedly like he just wasted his opportunity.

"You're lucky, boy. But don't be too complacent, I'll look for you again..." and then he stared at me. "And that woman." He added and it gave chills.

"Looks like karma is chasing you, fucker." Leviticus uttered. When will he stop? He's getting into trouble because he keeps talking!

"Let's go!" One of Leo's minions shouted not until he disappeared like a burst bubble! What the! He can teleport? That's... I don't know but it's cool!

Leo stared at us for the last time and then suddenly ran away from us with his other minions. I took a deep breath because I thought we were both going to be in danger. Well, we were in danger but thankfully, God is always with me and helped me to escape from those criminals!

"That's why I can't understand this world for bringing you here." I looked at Leviticus who's now looking at me. I was stiffened because he suddenly became cold. He has no flames anymore in his hands.

"Y-You were here too," I softly whispered.

"This is the only place that gives me peace. Here, I can think clearly because I am damn confident that no one will go here." He explained with a calm voice. He's trying to be cold but I know deep inside, he doesn't want to be misunderstood. His jaw is moving, looks like he was just controlling his temper because of me.

"S-So they were the one who made this place, dangerous?"

He shook his head and then look up at the sky, "they were just bunch of idiots and evils who wants power and money." He responded and then sighed. "Monsters... monstrous.. ferocious monsters made this place dangerous." He looked at me again and then sigh.

I don't know but I think I saw how his eyes soften while staring at me. And then seconds after, he became cold again.

It's been minutes when we decided to go to their guild. As far as I remember, he doesn't want to bring me in their guild because I am stupid, that's what he said. But I just smiled at him and then made him remember that after escaping, he has to explain everything... everything about this world where magic is existing. But he just rolled his eyes at me and then voila! He took me along with him because he doesn't have any choice.

"So you can wield fire?" I asked him.

"Obviously, yes." He responded boredly. My eyes sparkled. I thought these things happened just in tv series! I didn't know that magic really existing! Well, not in my previous world because this place is in another dimension I guess.

"That's cool! Is everyone leaving here has magic too?"

He sighed patiently, "yes." He shortly answered.

Thinking that people here has magic, meaning, they can do what they want. But, after that encounter with the scarred man, I guess this world is just like my previous world. They have people here who wants money and power, just like politicians. They have criminals here and I don't know how people from here call them.

Do they also have police?

"We're here." I stopped from walking when a huge house welcomed my eyes. The house is big but I think it's kinda too old, I even seeing some webs from the windows and wait, is their doorknob broken? I winced. That house looks like it was abandoned, if my parenst are here, they will surely reprimand them for being irresponsible.

I roamed my eyes and I can see some people doing their own businesses. I didn't notice that we are already in the city and I can see houses to in different angles. But their houses are cool, just like in my world, it looks like it was modernized. The exterior designs are well-planned, the tile in walls are well-placed. There are some flowers in their vases on top of the tables, beside windows and even beside of their front doors.

I stared at the house again in my front. Why does it seem different?

And there's a name sign 'White Fin's Guild'. I think this is the guild that Leviticus talking about. Their guild.

"If you have questions, just ask me, because even if I don't want to, I don't have any choice." He suddenly said and that made me secretly pout. He's too grumpy. "Ask me, no one else." He added.
