Chapter 3: A New Beginning

Shobie sat in the darkness of her room, the weight of her thoughts pressing heavily on her chest. She had spent countless nights staring at the ceiling, wondering if life was worth continuing. The pain, the loneliness—it all felt endless. She believed she was useless, that her existence had no meaning. But deep inside, a small voice whispered, urging her to hold on.

One morning, after days of isolation, she gathered all her strength and stepped outside. As she walked through the streets, she realized that the world had changed. Tall buildings stood where old ones had crumbled, and people moved with a renewed sense of purpose. Technology had advanced in ways she never imagined. For the first time in a long while, a spark of curiosity ignited within her.

While wandering, she noticed a new mall that had recently opened. Its name shone brightly in neon lights—"Neo Haven Plaza". Something about it drew her in, and without hesitation, she stepped inside. The mall was filled with the latest technological wonders, but one stall caught her attention immediately.

A store displaying AI humans stood in the center of the mall, surrounded by fascinated customers. Rows of life-like AI beings, each with unique features and personalities, were showcased like high-end products. But Shobie's eyes locked onto one particular AI girl. She was perfect—her bright eyes, warm smile, and serene aura made her stand out among the rest.

Loneliness clawed at Shobie's heart, and in that moment, she made a decision. She would buy this AI. Not as a mere machine, but as a companion—someone to fill the empty spaces in her life.

After completing the purchase, the AI company quickly processed her order. Within hours, they delivered the AI girl to her home, fully set up and ready to interact. As the delivery team positioned the AI on her sofa, Shobie felt an unfamiliar warmth in her heart.

The AI girl's presence was radiant. Her smile, her voice—it exuded happiness and light. She looked at Shobie with gentle eyes and greeted her in the softest tone, "Hello, my name is Aya. I'm here for you."

For the first time in what felt like forever, Shobie felt something she had long forgotten.

Hope.
