On our eighth wedding anniversary, I was kidnapped.
When I called my husband Aaron to ask for ransom money,
He was at the hospital with his mistress Siena for a prenatal checkup, and his tone was very impatient: "Estelle, didn't you say you wanted a divorce? Now you're using this trick to deceive me?"

"Look into the identities of those who kidnapped Estelle. Also, investigate Siena's recent whereabouts and financial transactions."


The secretary on the other end was clearly surprised but immediately replied, "Yes, boss. I'll get right on it."


After hanging up, Aaron tossed his phone aside, covered his face with his hands, and sank back into deep anguish.


He never imagined that the woman he loved so deeply would die tragically because of his suspicion and betrayal.


And Siena, whom he once trusted, turned out to be the mastermind behind it all.


Aaron hesitated for a moment, thinking it might be his secretary with news, and quickly picked up the phone.


However, the screen displayed a scheduled email from me.
