Audrey's brow furrowed. She followed Anne's line of sight and spotted an elegantly dressed woman walking in, her hair styled neatly, her makeup impeccable, and her entire outfit screaming luxury. She moved with grace to the reserved central table and sat down with an air of importance.
Audrey leaned closer to Anne and murmured, "That's Denis's mother, right?"
Anne gave a slight nod, her expression tightening. "Yeah… that's her."
Before either of them could process the moment, Tania walked in.
Anne instinctively snatched the menu card and lifted it to shield her face. Audrey, catching on, did the same, though her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she peeked over the edge of the menu.
Tania walked straight to Jeanne Beaumont's table and slid into the seat opposite her confidently.
"Well, well… it looks like they're pretty tight," Audrey whispered. "Tania is definitely working her way in."
