Chapter ( 36 )

Zhen Chen's memories began to unfold layer by layer as his consciousness penetrated deeper. After a brief rest, he started studying the contents of each layer. The information was vast, covering the lifestyle of the clan, medicinal herbs, various types of metals and their energy properties, weapon forging, formations, energy artifacts, energy network structures, raw materials for formations, and even the step-by-step construction of vehicles, from small crafts to interstellar spaceships. Zhen Chen was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of knowledge.

What fascinated him the most was the construction of interstellar spaceships. From what he gathered, these massive vessels were built using a purified alloy extracted from planetary cores. A primary energy source, known as the Star Core, powered the entire system, which was constructed using bio-plasma technology. The ships were equipped with an intelligent spirit within their control formations, capable of calculating and opening dimensional gates for interstellar travel.

Zhen Chen began to understand the complexity of human technology and energy systems. The universe was enveloped in a stable dark energy, and by piercing through this energy, one could create a dimensional gate to travel to distant locations. The ships' durability relied on their ability to withstand the destructive forces of unknown dimensions, protected by layers of energy shields.

During travel through these dimensional gates, the first layer of the ship's energy shield would constantly adapt to the dimensional conditions, collapsing and reforming as needed. The second layer maintained the ship's structural integrity with high-frequency energy adjustments. Despite understanding these advanced technologies, Zhen Chen knew he couldn't build an interstellar spaceship himself. The required materials and metals were of such high quality that they didn't exist on Earth. He sighed in frustration.

"Am I really incapable of doing anything?" he muttered.

Zi Mo patted Zhen Chen's shoulder reassuringly. "It's not your fault. You just need to understand everything first. One day, when the opportunity arises, you might even build the largest interstellar spaceship."

Zhen Chen felt a bit comforted by Zi Mo's words. "You're right. I need to study everything. One day, I'll build unique vehicles that no one else can."

He continued studying the remaining memories. Three days passed, and Zhen Chen finally stood up. He looked at Zi Mo, who was busy repairing some equipment. "What are you doing, Zi Mo?" he asked.

Zi Mo didn't look up. "An energy gun. I saw one in a movie and liked it, so I decided to make one for myself."

Zi Mo was engrossed in his work, pulling out various materials from his formation space. Zhen Chen decided not to disturb him further and asked to be let out.

When Zhen Chen returned to the main hall, he found that Yu Xue Yin and the others were gone. Instead, he saw a message written in red lipstick on a rock near the pool. The message was simple: they had left and would return once they finished their cultivation. Yuan Yuan, despite her strength, couldn't do anything with Zhen Chen's chosen artifact, the communication plate, and couldn't contact him. They had no choice but to leave. The formation at the cave entrance prevented anyone from entering, but it allowed exit, which was fortunate. Zhen Chen removed his clothes, tossed two medicinal herbs into the pool, and used the formation again.

Two days later, Zhen Chen emerged from the formation pool. He then entered the communication plate to begin his cultivation. His blue bloodline energy was densely surrounded by swirling energy particles. This time, however, the blue energy had slightly changed. The particles were absorbing energy frantically, and Zhen Chen didn't need to control them. After half a day, the absorption rate slowed, and the particles turned from blue to sky blue. Complex memories began flooding Zhen Chen's consciousness. His evolving bloodline had awakened.

The evolution of his bloodline was a powerful yet chaotic process. Not only did his energy change, but his physical body transformed as well. Zhen Chen grew taller. His arms turned into crystal-clear, sky-blue glass-like structures, and his legs followed suit. His chest and abdomen turned blue, while his face remained a pale sky blue. He resembled a high-level cyborg, but Zhen Chen wasn't pleased with his new appearance. However, he had no control over it.

The evolving bloodline energy circulated throughout his body, and the influx of complex memories caused a splitting headache. After over an hour, the memory process ended, and Zhen Chen felt better. When the bloodline energy stopped circulating, his body returned to its original form. From the new memories, Zhen Chen understood that his transformation was related to the ancient sky-blue dragon bloodline. Additionally, if he wanted to fight, his sky-blue glass-like arms could transform into dragon claws. He also noticed that all his blood had turned sky blue. He sighed.

"A dragon? Sky-blue dragon bloodline energy. That sounds impressive. Now that I've awakened my evolving bloodline, my body has changed a bit. It feels a bit strange, but... well, I can't help it."

Zi Mo looked at Zhen Chen and said, "Do you know what an ancient sky-blue dragon is? It's a mythical god from the Sea of Destruction. The ancient bloodlines are powerful clans that existed long ago. The sky-blue dragon clan has gone extinct. The Sea of Destruction was formed due to the battle between the sky-blue dragons and the fire-spark dragons."

Zhen Chen asked, "Are the ancient sky-blue dragons really that powerful?"

"Of course. Among the ancient bloodlines, even the sixth level is incredibly strong. Your bloodline has the most potential. Ancient bloodlines are extremely rare, and yours is even rarer because it's evolving. If the clans find out about you, they might even try to recruit you. With enough resources, advancing won't be difficult."

Zhen Chen was startled. "Am I that special now? This is a problem. How can I avoid attracting the clans' attention, Zi Mo? Give me some advice."

"Relax. No one knows about you yet," Zi Mo replied.

Zhen Chen's current energy level was on the verge of reaching the Earth Formation stage. What he needed now was to integrate his energy particles with energy laws to form a stable energy world.

Energy laws required deep understanding and contemplation. Once he reached a certain level of comprehension, the energy laws would give birth to an energy world. Zhen Chen needed to repeatedly analyze and contemplate the various energy structures and essences. With that, he left the communication plate and returned to the dark cliff. As he flew through the air, Zhen Chen called Yu Xue Yin, but her phone was off. He then called Xin Lan.

"Sister Xin Lan, where are you now?" he asked.

Xin Lan's voice was tearful. "Zhen Chen... Sister Xue Yin and Auntie have left."

Zhen Chen was shocked. "Where are you now? I'll come immediately."

His heart was heavy. Why had Yu Xue Yin left so suddenly? He couldn't understand why she hadn't waited for him. Using his full energy, Zhen Chen flew swiftly through the air.
