Heading Out To Earn Money

"Arthur, now that we've finally resolved the issues with both the family and the company, what's our next step?" Julian, Arthur's first uncle, set down his spoon and met Arthur's gaze with a calm intensity.

At that moment, everyone at the table paused their meals, their expressions serious, except for Liz, who remained blissfully unaware and continued to enjoy her soup.

Arthur surveyed his uncle, aunts, and two cousins with an air of calmness. "Well... Given that we've sold off many of our businesses and properties to clear our debts, we're left with just one company, the real estate firm managed by my second uncle," he began. Nods of agreement rippled around the table as he spoke.

"Our current situation is dire; we've hit rock bottom. Climbing back to where we were will be challenging, but I believe we can not only recover but also surpass our previous success."

He paused for effect before continuing, "Right now, we need to focus on developing our real estate company. Fortunately, we have a significant project underway. If we can see it through to completion, it will provide us with much-needed capital. So my recommendation is to consolidate our resources and strengthen this foundation."

Everyone nodded in understanding as Arthur laid out his thoughts.

"Arthur is right; our circumstances are precarious," Margaret interjected from her seat.

Her beautiful face was etched with seriousness. "We must tread carefully during this time."

William chimed in as well: "Yes! We need to safeguard what remains of the real estate company, it's all that's left after losing nearly everything else. Our enemies won't hesitate to strike if they see an opportunity."

A heavy silence fell over the group as they absorbed the gravity of their situation. They all knew how dangerous things could become if they didn't proceed cautiously.

After a moment of reflection, Arthur addressed them again: "Alright everyone, since we're all aware of where we stand currently…"

He hesitated briefly before adding, "...we can't delve too deeply into plans without everyone present."

Turning to Julian, he said firmly yet respectfully: "Uncle Julian, please inform every elder in the family to gather at the mansion five days from now for a family meeting regarding our future development strategies. Everyone who has graduated or is in their final year should attend as well."

At this announcement about the family meeting, expressions shifted around the table, seriousness replaced any lingering lightheartedness as they turned their attention back to Arthur.

"I'll take care of that immediately after dinner," Julian replied earnestly.

Arthur nodded thoughtfully, then turned to his first aunt with a serious expression. "Please tell Uncle Charles to join us for the family meeting as well, Aunt Margaret."

Margaret's eyes widened in surprise, but within moments, warmth flooded her gaze. "Thank you, Arthur," she replied, her voice softening.

Arthur smiled and nodded back at her. Julian and the others exchanged glances of astonishment; they hadn't expected Arthur to take such an initiative.

"Remember," Arthur continued, addressing everyone in the room with a firm tone, "the family meeting is just five days away. Don't miss it! This gathering holds significant importance for our family and will impact us for years to come."

Julian and the others nodded solemnly, recognizing the weight of tradition that had been upheld by the Osborn Family for generations.

"Good," Arthur said with satisfaction, a smile spreading across his face.

Arthur lounged lazily in a large executive chair, a content smile gracing his lips.

His hair was still damp from a recent shower, a sign he had just finished freshening up after dinner while everyone else retired early for rest.

Clad in comfortable casual wear, he had made his way to his father's study, a room filled with memories of leadership and responsibility.

Suddenly, an unexpected voice echoed in his mind: [Host a main family task has been released; please check it.]

Startled yet intrigued by this cold announcement from the system embedded within him, excitement flickered in Arthur's eyes.

Without hesitation, he opened the system panel, revealing a shimmering silver holographic screen before him.

As he scanned through the mission assigned to him, laying down solid foundations for the family's future, he fell silent for a moment.

"System," he queried curiously, "what kind of foundation are we talking about?"

[Host: The foundation refers to establishing companies or venturing into various industries that can strengthen the family's position at this stage.]

A light bulb went off in Arthur's mind as realization struck him; completing this mission could yield valuable rewards from the system!

However, his excitement quickly turned bittersweet as he contemplated their current financial situation, his family was broke. Fortunately, there were ways to earn money.

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Arthur approached his desktop computer and navigated to writing software.

With determination coursing through him like electricity, he cracked his knuckles and began typing rapidly against the backdrop of silence that enveloped the study room.

--------------------------------

The next morning, Arthur sprang out of bed with a burst of energy.

After a quick workout and some invigorating stretches in the mansion's well-equipped gym, he returned to his room for a long, luxurious bath.

Dressed in a sharp suit, sans tie, he made his way downstairs, where breakfast awaited him.

As usual, it was a lavish spread: steaming hot dishes that filled the air with mouthwatering aromas.

With his hunger satisfied, Arthur hopped into his sleek Aether GT and sped away from the mansion.

Meanwhile, the rest of his family had already left earlier to tackle their own responsibilities in stabilizing both the company and their family affairs.

As Arthur hit the open road, the morning sun peeked through fluffy clouds, casting its warm golden glow over everything below.

He glanced out at the rapidly passing skyscrapers and elegant buildings lining the street while pedestrians bustled along the sidewalks.

The cacophony of honking cars filled the air as he inhaled deeply; a smile crept across his face, he felt more relaxed than ever before.
