Chapter 6: SPRING AUTUMN RIZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 6: SPRING AUTUMN RIZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Starting to Refine the Liquor Worm (It's Giving Sigma Grindset)

Fang Yuan sat cross-legged in his room at the inn, his mind racing like a TikTok algorithm. "With my C-grade talent, my primeval sea is only at 44%. The Liquor Worm is gonna drain my primeval essence faster than I can recover it. If I want to refine this bad boy, I'm gonna need to burn through some primeval stones. What a BIG L."

He sighed, running the numbers in his head. "The weaker the Gu's will, the easier it is to refine. But every living thing has the will to survive, so it's not gonna be a walk in the park. Refining the Moonrizz Gu would've taken me at least five primeval stones, maybe eight if I got unlucky. But this Liquor Worm? Nah, fam. This thing's on another level. I'm looking at eleven stones minimum, maybe even sixteen. What the SUS, that's my entire stash GONE."

He glanced at the seventeen primeval stones he had left. "Even if I use all of these, I might only have one stone left. ONE. That's not gonna cut it. I need to grind harder."

Outside, the moonlight was giving soft girl vibes, gently caressing the Gu Yue Village like it was the main character in a K-drama. The bamboo houses glowed like jade, and the night breeze was like nature's ASMR. Fang Yuan, however, was not here for the vibes. He was here to WIN.

He banged on the inn door, and the sleepy worker opened it, rubbing his eyes. "Who's knocking at this hour—oh, it's you, my lord!" The worker's attitude did a full 180, bending over backward to please Fang Yuan. "Would you like some supper, my lord? Maybe a midnight snack?"

Fang Yuan waved him off. "Just get me some hot water. I need to wash up."

The worker scurried away, and Fang Yuan headed upstairs. As he walked, he overheard the worker muttering, "If only I had the talent to cultivate… life would be so much better." Fang Yuan smirked bitterly. "Bro, you have no idea. Being a Gu Master is just one big money pit. Primeval stones for cultivation, primeval stones for battles, primeval stones for refining Gu, primeval stones, primeval stones… it's a never-ending grind."

The Grind Begins (It's Giving No Sleep Til Brooklyn)

Back in his room, Fang Yuan lit a candle and got to work. He pulled out the Liquor Worm, which was still snoozing like it didn't have a care in the world. Its little body was soft and white, glowing like a pearl under the candlelight. Its tiny black eyes made it look kinda cute, but Fang Yuan wasn't fooled. This thing was a beast in disguise. It was SUS.

He took a deep breath and started channeling his primeval essence into the Liquor Worm. The moment his essence touched it, the worm woke up and started thrashing like it was in a mosh pit. "This thing's resistance is NO JOKE," Fang Yuan muttered, his face tense. "It's got waaaay more gyatt than the Moonrizz Gu. Ts gon' take forever."

Hours passed. The candle burned down to a stub, and the moon dipped below the horizon. Fang Yuan's primeval essence was draining fast, but the Liquor Worm was barely 1% refined. "What the hell, only 1% through," he groaned. "This thing's will is tougher than a Rank five Gu. How am I supposed to beat this?"

He realized the truth: this Liquor Worm had once been the Flower Wine Monk's vital Gu. Even though it had degraded to Rank one, its will was still as strong as ever. Refining it was like trying to fight the ghost of a legendary cultivator. "I need at least thirty primeval stones to pull this off," Fang Yuan thought. "But right now, I've only got seventeen. This is NOT gonna be easy."

The Morning After (It's Giving Drama)

The next morning, Fang Yuan's stomach growled like a hungry dragon. He hadn't slept all night, and the exhaustion was hitting him hard. "I need my yum yums," he muttered, heading downstairs to the inn's cafeteria. He ordered a spread of breakfast dishes and sat in the corner, ready to refuel.

But his peace was short-lived. His younger brother, Gu Yue Fang Zheng, stormed in like he was the main character in a soap opera. "Big brother, why didn't you come home last night? And what did you do to Shen Cui? She's been crying nonstop, YOU ARE SUS!"

Fang Yuan didn't even look up. He just kept eating, ignoring his brother like he was background noise. "Mmm yum yum"

Fang Zheng wasn't having it. "How can you treat her like this? Just because you're upset about your C-grade talent doesn't mean you can take it out on her!"

SLAP.

Fang Yuan stood up and smacked Fang Zheng across the face. "Who do you think you're talking to, lil bro? That maid is nothing compared to me. And you? You're out here simping for her like she's the love of your life. PATHETIC."

Fang Zheng stumbled back, clutching his cheek. "Big brother, you've never hit me before!"

SLAP.

Fang Yuan hit him again. "You've forgotten everything I've done for you. When we were kids, I gave you my New Year's robe. I made sure you got your favorite sweet porridge every day. And this is how you repay me? By coming at me over a maid? UNBELIEVABLE."

Fang Zheng was speechless. Fang Yuan wasn't done. "You want Shen Cui? Fine. Give me six primeval stones, and she's yours. But from today on, you're not my brother anymore."

Fang Zheng's face turned red. He fumbled with his money pouch and handed over six primeval stones. "Here. Take them. Just… just give me Shen Cui."

Fang Yuan pocketed the stones and waved him off. "Go. And don't let me see your face again."

The Aftermath (It's Giving Cold Vibes)

After Fang Zheng left, Fang Yuan sat back down, his expression icy. The sunlight streaming through the window made him look like a statue carved from stone. The inn worker came over, asking if he wanted his food reheated, but Fang Yuan didn't respond. He was lost in thought, his mind replaying the events of the past few days.

"I've got twelve primeval stones now," he thought. "But refining the Liquor Worm is still gonna be a nightmare. I need more resources, more power. And I can't let anyone find out about this Gu. If the clan finds out, they'll connect it to the Flower Wine Monk, and then I'm cooked."

He clenched his fists, his resolve hardening. "No matter what, I WILL refine this Liquor Worm. It's my ticket to power, and I'm not letting anyone take that away from me."

Rank Six Vital Gu, The Spring Autumn Rizz! (It's Too Op)

Two days later, Fang Yuan was back in his room, still grinding away at the Liquor Worm. He'd barely slept, and his primeval essence was running on fumes. But he was making progress—slowly.

Suddenly, the Liquor Worm curled up into a ball and started glowing like a supernova. "OH NO," Fang Yuan thought. "IT'S COUNTERATTACKING."

The Liquor Worm was going HAM, counterattacking Fang Yuan like it was the final boss in a video game. Its willpower was no joke—inherited from the Flower Wine Monk, it was strong enough to make Fang Yuan's primeval sea look like a kiddie pool during a hurricane. Fang Yuan was ready to throw hands, gathering his primeval essence into a massive wave to clash with the Liquor Worm's will. But just as the two forces were about to collide, something WILD happened.

Out of nowhere, a faint image of a Gu worm appeared. It was the Spring Autumn Rizz, and it was NOT here to play games. This cicada was small but mighty, with wings that looked like delicate tree leaves and a body that screamed "I've seen some stuff." Its aura was like a tidal wave, crashing down on the Liquor Worm's will like it was nothing. The Liquor Worm's will? GONE. Lol man got obliterated. Reduced to atoms.

Fang Yuan was SHOOK. "THE SPRING AUTUMN RIZZ?! IT'S STILL ALIVE?!"

Turns out, the Spring Autumn Rizz had been chilling in Fang Yuan's body this whole time, taking a nap after the whole time-travel thing. It was weak AF, barely hanging on, but even in its weakened state, it was still a Rank six Gu. And Rank six Gu don't play around.

The cicada's aura pressed down on Fang Yuan's primeval sea, calming the waves like a giant hand flattening a crumpled piece of paper. Fang Yuan couldn't even move a drop of his primeval essence—it was like being pinned under a mountain. But instead of freaking out, Fang Yuan was ECSTATIC.

"This is my VITAL GU! The Spring Autumn Rizz is MY vital Gu!" he thought, his mind racing. "I thought I had to settle for the Liquor Worm, but nah, I've got a Rank six Gu in my pocket. This is so FIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The Liquor Worm Gets Clapped

With the Spring Autumn Rizz's aura backing him up, Fang Yuan went to work on the Liquor Worm. The poor worm was trembling like a leaf, its will completely shattered. Fang Yuan's primeval essence flowed in without any resistance, dyeing the worm green in seconds. The Liquor Worm was officially REFINED.

Fang Yuan felt a deep connection to the worm, like it was an extension of his own body. He could make it curl, stretch, or even do a little dance if he wanted to. But the real star of the show was the Spring Autumn Rizz. Even in its weakened state, it was a game-changer.

"With this cicada, I can refine ANY Rank one Gu in minutes," Fang Yuan thought, grinning like a maniac. "No primeval stones needed. This is BROKEN."

He tested it out on the Moonrizz Gu, and sure enough, the cicada's aura made the refining process a breeze. In less than five minutes, the Moonrizz Gu was his. Fang Yuan marked his forehead with the pale blue crescent, feeling like the main character in an overpowered isekai anime.

The Academy Elder's Reaction (Bro's Confusion Is Reaching Unprecedented Levels)

Fang Yuan didn't waste any time. Bro headed straight to the clan academy, ready to claim his prize as the first to refine a Gu. The academy elder was asleep when Fang Yuan arrived, but the news woke him up faster than a caffeine overdose.

"Who's the first?" the elder asked, rubbing his eyes. "Is it Gu Yue Fang Zheng?"

The subordinate shook his head. "No, sir. It's Gu Yue Fang Yuan."

The elder's face went from sleepy to SHOOK in 0.2 seconds. "Gu Yue Fang YUAN? The C-grade talent? Are you SURE?"

When Fang Yuan walked in, the elder was still in denial. He patted Fang Yuan on the shoulder, smiling like a proud dad. "Well done, Gu Yue Fang Zheng! I knew you'd be the first!"

Fang Yuan took a step back, his expression calm but his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Erm what the sigma sir, I'm Gu Yue Fang Yuan. Fang Zheng is my lil bro."

The elder's smile froze. "Wait. YOU'RE Fang Yuan? The C-grade talent?"

"That's me," Fang Yuan said, pointing to the crescent mark on his forehead. "I refined the Moonrizz Gu."

The elder stared at him like he'd just grown a second head. "You… you're first?"

Fang Yuan shrugged. "Unless someone else did it before me, yeah."

The academy elder: "..."
