CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

"Ahh!" she screeched as the hotness stung the cut on her lips. But that didn't mean that she slowed down, she hadn't even chewed on that one when she scooped up some more and stuffed her mouth, her cheeks all puffed up with food.

A smile played on his lips as he gently pushed the bowl towards her, "There's still some more, so slow down." He says, and the glint in her eyes when he said those words made something move in his chest, he didn't know food could make a person light up like that. Because of that he rises from his sit and goes on to bring what was left in the pot for her.

Sitting down next to her, he watched her hungrily eat, all the while trying to avoid his gaze because she seemed shy. It made him wonder if thus was her real personality because she didn't seem like the shy type when she approached him at the bar.
