ARIA’s POV
Gabriela's screams pierced the air as she was dragged away, her eyes wild with fear and desperation. Matteo's arms were around me, holding me back, but I couldn't tear my gaze away from the scene. I knew She had become a danger to herself and others, and something had to be done.
But as I watched her being pulled into the car, her face contorted in a mixture of rage and terror, my heart went out to her. She was so lost, so broken. She needed our help, our support, not this brutal removal from our lives.
Matteo's grip on me tightened as I struggled to break free, to run after the car and drag Gabriela back to us. But it was too late. The car sped away, leaving us standing in the driveway, feeling helpless and guilty.
"We had to do it, Aria," Matteo whispered in my ear. "She needed professional help. We couldn't handle her on our own anymore." I knew he was right, but we had failed Gabriela, abandoned her in her time of need.
