*Adrian's POV:*
We rode our bikes in silence, the wind whipping through our hair as we approached our secret spot. The beautiful, wide garden was a tranquil oasis in the rural area, far from the city's chaos. But our peaceful haven was disrupted by a group of rough-looking men, armed with rods and dressed like thugs.
My instincts went on high alert as I noticed two girls on a bike in the center of the garden. I brought my bike to a halt, my eyes scanning the scene before me.
*Author's POV:*
Adrian and Fredrick slowed down their bikes as they approached the men, their confidence unwavering. The leader of the group, a burly man with tattoos and a menacing snake tattoo on his jawline, raised his brows and warned, "Stay out of this, men. This is none of your business."
But Adrian and Fredrick ignored the warning, approaching the group with a sense of purpose. Stella, one of the girls, felt a glimmer of hope, but it was quickly extinguished as she realized the odds were against them.
As the men closed in, Adrian dodged a rod and delivered a fatal kick, his movements swift and deadly. Fredrick joined the fray, and together they took down the men with ease. Fiona, the other girl, stepped down from her bike and joined the fight, her movements a blur of speed and agility.
Fredrick's eyes locked onto Fiona, and for a moment, he seemed lost in her fierce beauty. But he quickly snapped out of it, refocusing on the fight.
As the men retreated, Stella grabbed a rod and started hitting one of the attackers. Adrian noticed her struggling and stepped in, wrapping his arms around her from behind. He soothed her hair, calming her down until she finally dropped the rod.
As the dust settled, Fredrick picked up the last attacker and turned to Fiona. "Follow me," he said, his eyes locked onto hers. Adrian watched as they walked away, a hint of amusement on his face.
As soon as they were out of sight, Stella burst into tears, her body shaking with sobs. Adrian held her close, his arms wrapped around her as he tried to comfort her....
