Among the Big Three Sorcerer Families, many already knew about the ambiguous relationship between Yuki and Satoshi from nine years ago, so this scene didn't come as a surprise.
But for most minor clans and unaffiliated sorcerers like Nanami Kento, they knew nothing of Yuki's ties to Gojo Satoshi.
Even if someone mentioned Gojo Satoshi to them, most wouldn't remember that there had once been another Six Eyes Godson from the Gojo Clan—a genius who forged Zanpakutō and then vanished into a nine-year sleep.
Mention the Gojo Clan, and the first name that comes to mind is always Gojo Satoru, the wielder of the Limitless Technique. No one remembers Satoshi, his twin. Nine years is long enough for one person to completely fade from another's memory.
But while Gojo Satoshi was unknown to many, Tsukumo Yuki was not.
She was the only current female Special Grade sorcerer in the world.
Yuki—with her stunning figure and striking beauty—she had captured the hearts of countless young men.
Now, this beautiful and powerful Special Grade sorcerer was standing up to the General Directorate. Who was she defending?
Was it for Gojo Satoshi?
Just who was this Gojo Satoshi? Why did he hold such weight with the General Directorate? Why was he being targeted by Zenin Ogi, the younger brother of the Zenin Clan's head?
Could there really be another person in the Gojo Clan, besides Gojo Satoru, worthy of such attention?
Suspicion grew among the unaffiliated sorcerers watching the broadcast.
Unlike those in front of their screens, Zenin Ogi could truly feel the pressure Yuki was releasing in person.
As a Zenin representative in the General Directorate, Ogi knew exactly how dangerous Yuki was.
Star Rage had long been the signature technique of the Tsukumo Clan in Kyoto. But after Gojo Satoshi forged the Zanpakutō, Zabimaru, for her, Yuki became even more formidable.
The most critical factor, though, was that Yuki had once been the Star Plasma Vessel, and shared a mysterious connection with Tengen.
This made her a thorn the General Directorate didn't know how to handle.
And worst of all, Zenin Ogi knew he couldn't beat her.
He never imagined Yuki would step forward for Satoshi now.
Wasn't that nine-year-old scandal already ancient history?
To Zenin Ogi, love was a fleeting illusion. Nine years had passed. Surely, she would have forgotten Satoshi by now?
That was what he believed.
Now, however, he realized he had underestimated her.
Yuki turned out to be someone ruled by her emotions. Even now, in this situation, she stood for Gojo Satoshi.
As Yuki locked eyes with Zenin Ogi, freezing the entire room with her presence, a tall man stepped into frame. He smiled gently and said:
"Yuki, it's fine. What Zenin said isn't wrong. I really do intend to destroy Ryomen Sukuna's finger. That part is true."
That deep, calm voice immediately drew everyone's attention to Gojo Satoshi.
Two Gojo Satorus? No. That must be the Gojo Satoshi the General Directorate just mentioned, right? Same height, same hair, same eyes… Is he also a Six Eyes wielder?
When Nanami Kento saw Satoshi, he was stunned, then suddenly unsure.
Was it Satoru who had saved him before… or was it the man speaking now?
Nanami began to question his own memories. His earlier assumptions were no longer so certain. But he still lacked the evidence to know for sure.
One thing was clear—now that Gojo Satoshi had appeared, Nanami's expression grew increasingly serious as he watched the Cursed Corpse's live broadcast.
...
"Destroy Sukuna's finger? No way. Did I hear that right?"
"That's exactly what Gojo Satoshi just said!"
"He's going to do something this insane right after waking up? That's terrifying!"
"Gojo Satoshi really is the kind of guy who either makes no sound or causes a storm when he acts..."
"And the most important thing is, Tsukumo Yuki actually supports him!"
"Think about it. The goal is to destroy Ryomen Sukuna's finger! Of course the strongest Special Grade sorcerer would side with him!"
Many sorcerers were doubtful of Satoshi's plan. But the moment Yuki appeared on his side, that skepticism began to fade.
Still, many of them found it hard to accept that their goddess, Tsukumo Yuki, might actually like Gojo Satoshi.
To them, Yuki was perfection incarnate. The strongest. The future of the entire world of jujutsu.
But Gojo Satoshi?
He was a has-been. A man who vanished for nine years with no explanation. How could he possibly be worthy of someone like Yuki?
Zanpakutō?
In these nine years, Zanpakutō had become myth. A legend.
Many young sorcerers had never even seen a new Zanpakutō. Most assumed the entire concept was just a relic of a bygone era.
Sure, Yuki wielded one herself. But they all subconsciously ignored it. After all, she rarely used Zabimaru.
Her innate technique, Star Rage, along with the shikigami Garuda, was more than enough to slay Special Grade cursed spirits.
As for seeing Yuki use both Garuda and Zabimaru at once? The only cursed spirit worthy of forcing her into that was one that had absorbed Ryomen Sukuna's power...
...
Back in the live broadcast, Yuki shook her long golden hair and stared coldly at Zenin Ogi.
She scoffed, then turned and walked to Satoshi's side, giving him the spotlight.
After all, this was Tokyo Jujutsu High. It was Satoshi's stage. As someone from Kyoto High, it wasn't her place to intervene directly.
Still, she wouldn't allow Zenin Ogi from the General Directorate to keep spouting off at Satoshi.
