Adele

I woke to the harsh sound of reality which came as a blaring alarm clock.

Groggily, I rubbed my eyes and tried to shake off the haze of sleep as the sunlight streamed in through the curtains.

But as I opened my eyes, the first sight that met me was not the familiar surroundings of my suite, but a strange woman curled up beside me in the rumpled sheets with her dark hair tangled against the pillow.

She seemed like she'd been sleeping soundly.

I felt my temper flare before I could even reason who or what she was doing beside me.

With a quick, angry swipe, I tapped her roughly on the shoulder.

"Get up!" I barked, briefly remembering my affairs from last night.

When she doesn't stir, I angrily tap her again. "I don't have time for this."

She stirred a bit and without waiting another second, I found my wallet, took out some bills, not bothering to check the denomination but I knew that they weren't less than a hundred dollar bill.
