Beach party

I had plans with Belinda today, but it was canceled at the last minute as she needed to go back to her hometown for her daughter.

She always spoke about her with me and the more she talked, the more evident her love for the little girl was evident in her words.

I stood from my bed, trying to see if I could distract myself with a thing or two around the house. Marion was in his study, and I wasn't so sure that he would appreciate my presence while dealing so intently with business.

I didn't have any training today and I wanted to practice, but my trainers said my body and mind needed to rest so I could take the week off.

I paced around the room, trying to get my hands on something that could keep me preoccupied.

A knock came on my bedroom door, and I halted in my steps.

 "Come in, Marion," I said.
