Chapter 29: A Romantic Getaway (Part 1)

Embarkation

Dan Vu High School was bustling from early morning. The most anticipated three-day, two-night outing of the year had arrived. Laughter, hurried farewell hugs, all created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Buses lined up in front of the school gate, ready for a journey to explore the suburban ecological forest.

Destined Rides

Ngoc Han pulled Hao Thien to sit next to her. The two siblings had always been close as two peas in a pod, and this outing was no exception.

"Aren't you going to sit with your friends?" Ngoc Han asked when she saw Hao Thien seemed a bit absent-minded.

"I'd rather sit with you." Hao Thien shrugged, leaning his head against the window, his eyes showing a hint of sadness.

In another row of seats, Minh Hoang blushed shyly when Thanh Khai gently patted his shoulder.

"Sit here." Thanh Khai's voice was warm, but carried an indescribable firmness.

Minh Hoang blushed slightly, obediently sitting down next to Thanh Khai. He was used to this friend's protection, and perhaps, he didn't want that to change.

Meanwhile, Duat Van, who had intended to sit alone, was surprised when a young teacher came to sit next to him.

"Do you mind?" The other's voice was calm, carrying an irresistible charm.

Duat Van glanced over, recognizing him as Mr. Lam - a new teacher who had transferred to the school, whose handsome looks were no less than a model's. He shrugged, giving a light smile.

"No problem."

The buses rolled away, carrying hearts eager to discover new things.

First Experiences

Upon arrival, the students were divided into small groups to participate in various activities: mountain climbing, nature exploration, and camping.

Ngoc Han and Hao Thien were in the same group, both constantly arguing about who could climb faster.

"You're too slow, Hao Thien!"

"You're not much faster yourself!"

The two laughed and joked happily, unaware that a tall boy was quietly watching Ngoc Han from a distance - Nguyen Anh Phuc.

Minh Hoang and Thanh Khai also participated in mountain climbing. Minh Hoang seemed a bit exhausted, panting after walking for a while.

"Let's take it slow..." He complained.

Thanh Khai chuckled, saying nothing, just silently reaching out to pull him up step by step.

Duat Van attracted the attention of the teachers with his intelligence and agility. Every time Mr. Lam looked over, his eyes flashed with a strange hint of interest.

Budding Feelings

When night fell, everyone gathered around the campfire. While everyone was busy grilling potatoes and singing, Minh Hoang and Thanh Khai secretly left the campsite, strolling along a nearby stream.

The moon hung high, its soft light reflecting on the water's surface. Minh Hoang secretly glanced at the person beside him, his heart beating faster than ever.

"Thanh Khai, aren't you afraid of being discovered?"

"Afraid of what?" Thanh Khai shrugged. "Besides... I have something to tell you."

Minh Hoang looked up in surprise, his eyes wide.

"Do you know that I like you?"

The space suddenly fell silent. The night wind gently blew, ruffling Thanh Khai's hair slightly, but his eyes remained sharp and determined.

Minh Hoang was stunned. His heart seemed to skip a beat.

"...Are you kidding?"

"I don't know how to confess romantically." Thanh Khai sighed, pulling Minh Hoang closer. "But if you don't refuse, then be my boyfriend."

Minh Hoang's face flushed red. He said nothing, only bowing his head, but Thanh Khai took that as a yes. He chuckled, gently stroking Minh Hoang's hair.

"Then from now on, you're mine."

Unexpected Encounters

While everyone was still having fun, Ngoc Han accidentally slipped while walking down a slope near the campsite. She cried out, falling down.

"Ah!"

Hao Thien was startled, but before he could run over, someone was faster - Nguyen Anh Phuc.

"Are you okay?" His voice was warm, full of concern.

Ngoc Han endured the pain, shaking her head. "I'm fine..."

But when she tried to stand up, her ankle throbbed, almost making her fall again. Anh Phuc didn't hesitate, bending down, gently picking her up.

"Let me take you back to the camp."

Ngoc Han's eyes widened, her heart pounding as she was carried in his arms. She had never been so close to a guy like this before.

Anh Phuc said nothing more, just walking steadily through the night.

In another corner of the camp, Duat Van felt his body gradually heating up strangely. He leaned against a tree, his breath disordered.

"Damn it... what did I get into?"

The heat spread throughout his body, making him lose his composure. In a daze, he accidentally bumped into someone - a tall boy with a strong aura.

Hao Nhien.

In just a moment, he quickly realized something was wrong.

"Are you drugged?" His voice was low, full of worry.

Duat Van couldn't answer, only trembling.

Hao Nhien sighed softly, bending down, picking him up like a princess.

"Alright, I'll take you back."

Duat Van buried his face in his chest, the masculine scent emanating from him making the heat in his body even more unbearable.

Their first meeting, but also an unforgettable moment...
