Soren's cold glare could have frozen a blazing fire. Standing at the doorway, his arms folded tightly over his chest, he looked like he was ready to rip Ronan apart without a second thought. He barely kept his voice in check as he spoke.
Ronan sighed, he should have ignored the knocking.
"Since it's over, get out of my house." Soren warned.
Ronan glanced back over his shoulder to make sure Riven was still sound asleep. Once he was certain that his mate hadn't stirred, he slowly closed the door, keeping his movements calm and measured.
All the gentleness he had shown earlier had vanished, his gaze icy as he looked Soren straight in the eyes.
"I will be taking back my mate," Ronan declared firmly. His voice was resolute, leaving no room for negotiation.
