CHAPTER 2 THE FORMATION OF KYRAN

Training began at dawn in the temple of Nerith. Underground, in the secret sanctuary dedicated to Ætheris, Francisco Javier, Terry and Kyran gathered.

—We'll begin, — announced Francisco Javier, ready to teach Kyran as he had once done with Terry and his brothers. However, before they began, Ætheris appeared among them, taking the image of Helena.

—Don't do it, — Ætheris intervened.

—¿And how do you expect us to teach him? — Francisco Javier asked, trying to understand the precaution.

—Your grandson is not like Terry, Ethan or Rodrick. He possesses a power much more intense than theirs, since he was born with this force inside him, which has been intensifying. It is a hybrid power, a combination of energy and genetics from both worlds.

If you try to touch it, it will reject you, seeing you as an intruder, Ætheris explained.

—¿So how can we help him? — Terry asked, concerned about his son's development.

Turning to Kyran, Ætheris continued:

—I will teach you how to handle your powers myself. But you must understand that your ability is a thousand times more powerful than your father's. You will need discipline and concentration to properly focus your energy.

—Okay, — Kyran replied, accepting the challenge with determination.

—Well, — said Ætheris, preparing for a unique instruction. —I will teach you, but it will not be in the same way as with your father or grandfather. Your training will be different; we will advance at a pace that allows you to develop your power without risk. Let us begin. I need you to sit down and assume the lotus position.

Thus began Kyran's training days. Each morning, punctually at dawn, he devoted himself to learning about the management of his mind, the discipline of his body and the control of his energy, which required a mental strength capable of overcoming various challenges. At times, he struggled with himself when his body did not respond as he wished, but Ætheris, in her role as loving guide, was always there to comfort and correct him, patiently explaining his errors. Her skill as a teacher was unsurpassed, and as the days and months passed, Kyran began to understand and master his power with greater skill.

Kyran learned special prayers and how to coordinate his words and movements precisely to channel his energy. His mind had to remain focused and disciplined at all times. He even managed to materialize objects out of thin air, a feat he never thought possible. This journey of self-discovery and mastery proved transformative, marking the beginning of a new stage in his life, one in which his potential began to blossom under the careful tutelage of Ætheris.

Ætheris taught him —The Seven Orbits of Galactic Thought— and — The Eight Pulses of Cosmic Consciousness. — Without these essential trainings, Kyran would not have been able to focus his energy. In addition, he learned to analyze before acting, to connect with universal energy, to control his emotions to avoid falling into the absolute darkness of his own power or facing his inner demons, and to protect his mind from energetic turbulence or from those who would invade it. — There are many other things you should remember, but the essential thing is to observe yourself at all times. Do not forget, both mundane and spiritual practice are contained in what I am teaching you, — Ætheris told him.

—Now, of course, if at any time something I've taught you doesn't work out for you, you can always fall back on your wit and your skill for flattery; that will surely get you out of trouble, — Ætheris said, looking at him and laughing, which caused Kyran to smile happily at his mentor's joke.

Kyran had a strong military background, having studied alongside Marcus at military school and graduating with honors. However, he decided not to continue down that path and opted to study

— Space Biochemical Engineering for Sustainable Agriculture— at university, which took an additional four years on top of the four years of military service he had already completed. In the end, this supplemental education proved to be a great help, as it enriched what he was now learning from his mentor Ætheris.

For three years of intensive study, Kyran struggled to balance his power and learn from it. Ætheris had taught him how to create entire planets, but Kyran's power was even greater; he could create or destroy entire galaxies at will. This gave him a great responsibility, as his family's enemies might try to use his power for harm. Therefore, it was crucial that he guarded his secret with the utmost care.

—You are ready now, — Ætheris told him. —The rest is just practicing what I have taught you.

— ¿So that's it? — Kyran asked.

—Yes, that is all you need to learn for now, — Ætheris said. —The rest we will discover as you practice with your power. Remember that your power is much greater than that of your uncles or your father, and you must learn to use it wisely and also to hide it.

— I know — Kyran replied respectfully. He had been conducting some experiments on the planet Zephyra with his power, creating plants and animals in secret to explore the limits of his capabilities, always under Ætheris' supervision.

They were talking when Terry came to pick up his son.

—¿And how did it go? — he asked curiously.

—Your son is ready, — Ætheris replied. —Now all that remains is to practice and practice.

—Great, — Terry said, smiling, and hugged his son proudly. —Now you're ready. How do you feel?

—I feel more energetic, — Kyran replied.
