12. He has a fish to catch

Rosia's jaw tightened at the mention of Raymond.

Of course, he had answered. That man never missed an opportunity to stick his nose where it didn't belong.

"Yeah, well, he was just being annoying," she muttered. "I don't want to talk about him."

Tonia looked at her for a moment, as if debating whether to press the issue, but eventually, she nodded. "Are you hungry?"

Rosia sighed in relief at the change of topic. "Actually, yeah. I'm starving."

Tonia grinned. "I made breakfast earlier. Want me to warm it up?"

"Yes, please," Rosia said, stepping inside.

As she kicked off her shoes and collapsed onto the couch, the tension in her body slowly eased. For a moment, she allowed herself to relax.

Then, just as Tonia disappeared into the kitchen, the door opened again, and a familiar voice called out.

"Well, well, look who finally decided to show up."

Rosia turned to see Blender walking in, her usual confident smirk in place.
